I have owned 2 of these for a while now. I used them as a pair for stereo sound. The bass produced by the pair is good. They are easy to control with voice commands or the app. I also connect them to my Apple TV for sound when I am watching shows on the Apple TV. I do not use it for home automation as I have other devices for that. The only complaint I have, is that if you accidentally touch the top of the speaker they will start to play music. Then you have to give the command to stop the music. All around great speaker.

Had been given the original Echo as a gift and used it largely to play music in my bedroom. My wife asked to use it this Christmas downstairs to play holiday music. She got hooked on the timer capability and asked to keep it down there. Was reluctant to buy a HomePod as I listen to Pandora frequently and didn't want to be bothered with Apple Play. Bought one anyway when it went on sale at Best Buy for $100 off. Absolutely blows away the Echo in terms of sound...really nice bass and crisp acoustics. Found that Apple Music fit my needs when I did a bit of exploring. Great purchase. Would recommend.

Honestly never understood how to used it cause it would connect to my iPhone and then had a hard time to connect again to my iPhone honestly I just stick to google home speakers and nest

This was a Christmas gift for my son. The sound is impeccable! The set up was very simple.. He hasn't connected to smart devices yet.

Apple forgets to mention you need the Home App to setup the HomePod in their instructions if you had deleted it from home screen

Awesome speaker. Works well with Siri. Sound is like a Bose speaker. Tremendous base. Sound fills up a room. Try it. You will love it!!

Speaker sound is good. Don’t like you can’t just Bluetooth your phone. You have you set up with Apple Music and stream songs. Okay if you wanna stay in the Apple ecosystem.

I paid $199. Sounds So good and easy set up. It has like 8 speakers in this lil boom box. Bose I don’t know but this Lil speaker listen too.

Sometimes the pods that are synced become in-synced and it can be a pain to get time all back on, but 1st world problems!!!!

I love my HomePod it’s a great device does everything it’s supposed to my only downside is sometimes it has Wi-Fi issues or connection problems to my phone could just be me though

Really good! Very easy to use and it plays music perfectly and it pairs with equipments (iPhone, Mac, iPad...) very well and quickly!

I bought it for my daughter for college and she loves it!

I received one of these a couple of years ago and didn’t use it very much. I recently added this second one to make a stereo pair connected to my AppleTV and ultimately to my next TV that supports AirPlay. While it doesn’t support 5.1 sound of movies, the dynamic range and powerful bass are adequate for my needs. They work much better than the TV speakers alone and the adaptation to a particular room’s acoustics is a great feature. When I replace the TV I will be mothballing the receiver and multiple surround speakers and subwoofer.
