Great sound for the size and price. Would definitely suggest getting a pair.

    Magnificent Speaker for its Size

Impressive speaker! Pair it up with another HomePod mini for a grand stereo experience! Mids and highs are amazing for a speaker of this size; may even be better than the original HomePod. Bass is not as good as the original HomePod obviously; but for a speaker of this size, it is a lot more than you expect! Just wish that Apple had the option to manually balance the volume on the left and right channel, when stereo paired.

I was originally waiting for the return of the HomePod but who knows if it will ever return. I was in the Best Buy store for something unrelated to speakers or home assistants when I stopped by the Apple display and heard the mini’s. Well those sound pretty good for such little speakers and promptly bought 2 so I could have stereo or use in multiple rooms if the stereo mode wasn’t great. Stereo mode is excellent. Will have to buy more for other rooms. Setup was the usual easy Apple experience. Plug it in. Put your iPhone near it. Click the icon that appears on your phone. Done. Put the iPhone next to the second one and repeated the process used in the first one. It did an update which took a few minutes and they were ready to go. If you don’t have any Apple devices you can’t set these up. Overall I’m happy with the mini’s. I had the realistic expectation that the bass wouldn’t be booming and that I was going to be stuck with “hey Siri” limited functionality. I just use Siri to adjust volume, skip a song, start/stop music. Haven’t used it to make calls or do any messaging. These a great for background or foreground music. I’ve taken them outside on the deck was able to enjoy music without annoying the neighbors.

Works well. I’m not hot on putting ears my house but, probably no different from my phone. I tend to trust Apple with security a little better than other social media and data selling companies. Understands you even with music blaring! Speaker is good quality but, I still use my Bose mini for higher end sound. Unit is not wireless and cord is permanently attached. Probably more durable this way but, I hope it doesn’t need replaced.

Excellent, room-filling sound! Also great if you have HomeKit devices, as you’ll be able to control them with Siri.

I purchased 2 so far. They are awesome. The sound quality is great for something so small. Set up was easy, as was connecting to the wifi. You can listen to two separate medias at the same time or you can stream the same content thru them at the same time. I was able to figure out how to use airplay2 thru the tv and the minis but that did take a little bit of time and some google searching. Well worth the $200 for the pair.

After having this product for over a month I would like to say that this product is definitely worth the 100 dollar price tag while it does get beaten out in sound and price by a couple others like the google home and Alexa dot I’d say if you have an apple product this is a worth while investment. While it doesn’t have the best sound the speaker drive in it are nothing to scarf at easily being able to be heard from multiple rooms over at 70 percent volume. I would definitely but if you have an iPhone/MacBook

I have the Sonos Play:1,3,5 in my house currently and they don’t have the same crisp quality as the HomePod. I was surprised and not really looking at purchasing it until I read some reviews. At home it’s is very loud and has no issues with low mid and high points at any volume. The Siri assistant is just like the phone can answer basic “Siri stuff” so it’s not Alexa but that’s good for me since I have an Alexa and haven’t used it as much as I thought I would. When the AirPlay 2 comes out this year you’ll be able to group together the speakers and have an options for stereo pairs but for right now it’s great. My favorite thing though is being able to finally AirPlay from my phone or computer without opening an app. If I want to show someone a video or song from anywhere on my phone you just select the HomePod as the output and it goes right to the speaker. Sonos I couldn’t play any sound from my devices to the speaker you always have to use what’s in the app. Lastly Siri can hear you over any volume you have it at with a normal speaking voice. 100% volume and the living room is filled with crisp music and deep base (for the device size and price) just saying “Hey Siri” she will volume down and wait for an input with no effort of raising your voice.

I'm amazed at how good these sound for the size. I have two full-sized HomePod and now two of these to create a whole home audio experience. They all sync seamlessly with my main room running an AppleTV connected to a Yamaha AV receiver home theater setup. Plus all the smart functionality and Thread router capabilities.

I switched from using an Amazon Echo and Google Home Mini to this. It's more expensive, but the quality difference is noticeable. The sound quality is significantly better than an echo dot or home mini. Siri has been significantly improved so it is very responsive. I had an original Homepod back when they came out and there have been major improvements since then to the functionality. Setup was cake.

These are great to keep your tunes flowing throughout the house when you’re going room to room. It also has the intercom feature. We got 4 of these, and I had a little trouble setting a few of them up. Probably user error, though. These will mostly operate out of the IOS Home app on your device. Anytime you get a call on the primary device they are bluetoothed to, you will need to make sure your phone is selected so your conversation isn’t all through the house. They do have a great sound output.

I have a few of these HomePod mini speakers, they sound great! The base is a bit limited but that's expected for the size. The sound is full and rich though. I use it with Apple airplay and the volume control on the top is handy.

I’m sure I do not use this to its full potential yet, but I’m trying to ditch alexia and so far it’s good. It has a good speaker which plays with my Sonos, uses home kit , and works well with Apple Music. If your in the Apple eco world it’s a plus

This little smart speaker has amazingly great sound for its tiny size. It has a nice clean and compact look. If you are into Apple Music, Siri is much smarter in seeking out songs than Google. The hook up with this speaker through iPhone 12 was virtually automatic and seamless. Love that you can tap your iPhone onto the speaker to transfer a specific song playing on it. I plan to buy another to create a stereo pair.

I love the sound of this speaker. Definitely better than its rival amazon echo dot. It is a great speaker to have if you have an iPhone or if you are interested in the apple ecosystem including HomeKit. I like that it can be paired with my Apple TV 4K and the sounds doesn't have any lag.

I’m actually extremely impressed. I’ve always used the various Echo devices but I had a Best Buy gift card so I decided to try the HomePod mini since I have many other Apple products and I am extremely impressed with it. From the ease of setting up to the sound quality, there’s a lot from this little speaker. I bought it for my master bathroom and I’d say the sound quality tops Echo Gen 2. Will consider buying more now.

The Apple Homepod Mini is much easier to use compared to my other Amazon Echo Dot devices. I have predominantly more Apple devices at home and this device seemelessly connects/communicates with them effortlessly. I love how I can use two HonePod Minis to create an immersive satellite speakers when watching a movie.

This is my first HomePod purchase, the Mini, and it does not disappoint. Easy to set up with instant connection to all my devices. It takes up the tiniest bit of real estate on my desk, looks great and not conspicuous at all. The sound and ease of use are the best features, as the sound is top notch for a speaker this size. It has a great price point which allows for adding more around the house, all controlled by the Home app.
