Purchased these as Christmas gifts. Everyone loves them!!

Siri works great with good sound. Apple needs to add more acknowledgment to hey Siri because The Home Pod overides the phones and iPads. Need option to change the names to Yo Siri, Hello Siri or whatever. I have to whisper to my phone and even that doesnt always work.

Made a nice gifts for my wife who loves all things apple

I have all of the Alexa and Sonos speakers and wanted to try the HomePod mini because I have an iPhone, doesn't have any great benefits. It doesn't cost near as much as the Alexa Studio or Sonos speakers but, it doesn't sound quite as well either. In my opinion it needs to grow up a little bit to be competitive.

I got it cause it sounded so good in video but after receiving it the quality is not that good would honestly get 2 or more if you want this speaker or get the regular home pod, but I will say this little thing is really convenient with helping with timers and stuff Siri is really good on here

Really love the size but the sound could be a bit louder like the original sized homepod.

Awesome product one of the best things I have ever bought

I have not been able to have the Apple Home Pod mini work as advertised. For starters, I was not informed that two Home Pod minis had to work with just one of the units sharing the same network to enjoy the intercom function. Evidently this was not noted in the Apple instruction. In addition after discussing the handoff music playing feature for one hour each with four senior level support people who did a lot of experimenting, I was told the problem must be with my Nighthawk router and asked me to update the it. This too did not solve the problem. If all you want from Home Pod mini is the time of day or access to Wikipedia, then the Home Pod mini is for you. I am a fervent supporter and purchaser of Apple products but the Home Pod mini and the level of support leaves much to be desired. My concern about Apple support also applies to the lack of knowledge shown by senior personnel who tried with minimal success to resolve transfer problems from my Mac mini and my recently acquired 27” iMac.

For anyone thinking to compare this to other smart speakers, you’re doing it wrong. This is a specialized high quality product that brings niche and mainstream together. It’s better than it should be for the price.
