We purchased a pair of these to use as small surround sound speakers for our bedroom, they were easily hidden and have good sound

Easy to use fantastic sound quality easy to set up

This small HomePod gives great sound for its size, and the Apple integration is really good. My only gripe is that it seems to pick up some noises as "Hey Siri" and activates. But, it's a minor gripe. I did come from an Amazon Echo, and I do miss some of the capabilities from that. But from my research, Apple's privacy policy is definitely significantly stronger than Amazon or Google's, which makes this perfect for the privacy-centric person who wants a smart speaker.

Easy setup and works very similar to the larger homepod. You love the sound quality from small to medium sized rooms.

Honestly sounds better than expected by a long shot. In smaller rooms it sounds amazing. In larger areas, it sounds good, it just doesn’t have the size to fill up a large space. I wasn’t wanting a smart speaker. I was more looking for a decent quality sound from a small speaker for a bedroom. But now having it I’ll be adding more of these to my house. The smart features actually work better and are more useful than I thought. Strong work on price and quality.

It is a great smart speaker when it wants to cooperate but every once in a while it will decide to cause trouble with connectivity. Usually it works fine except sometimes when you airdrop music from APPLE MUSIC it will decide to stop music randomly or decide to not play it even though on same wifi, unplugging it and plugging it back seems to fix it but can be annoying occassionally.

Little speaker with amazing sound , easy set up and good addition to apple home kit

Apple always shines with their unbeatable integration amongst their products. This is a great first step if you’re looking to automate your home and already have or plan to have apple products. It seamlessly works with all your devices out of the box and is super easy to set up new HomeKit compatible products.

Went to the store to find a Bluetooth speaker and was looking at Bose/JBL/Sonos/Marshall. Then remembered that Apple had a speaker. Found the home pod mini and was sure it would not sound good due to the size. After playing it we decided that that was the one and met the needs. I will say the one con is you cannot use it to play Bluetooth music. So keep that in mind compared to the other speakers. But price and sound make it worth it if you have Apple Music.

A great home companion for your apple devices. Easy to setup. Great sound in any room. And even better price point.

Got this for my college dorm, and it definitely has some issues with shared wifi. I have yet to try it at home on a private network, but for those who are looking for a smart home device in a dorm, maybe just wait until you have your own wifi network. Otherwise, it is a fantastic product whenever it works, and as a speaker, it is 100% worth the price if you aren't looking for something that is strictly portable.

Nice addition to our HomeKit house. Really easy to connect with great sound. We just have one but will be adding another later. Definitely recommended

Dang! Asked Best Buy folks quite a few questions before buying this, and some of what I said should have made it kind of apparent that I probably didn’t have Wi-Fi out here in the boonies. So, bought it and tried setting up for quite a while before finding out the problem: Need actual Wi-Fi and “Personal Hotspot” won’t cut it! From what I can tell, based on sounds during attempted setup, the bass is rather impressive for such a small speaker. Think I would have loved it but, sadly, I ended up returning it. Didn’t give a really low score because it wasn’t the product’s fault. :-(
