Great sound for its size. Better than any other smart speaker in this price range.

Love these things! Have a few in my home and they are great

I’d been pondering about the purchase due to my questioning how much I’d actually use it; since I don’t have like a smart home... And after the purchase was made — oh my word 8) I’m Uber excited about its usage and beautiful sound. I use it as: • my wake-up alarm • to listen to my music (outside of my iPh 11 Pro Max (smiles) without interruption of calls, texts, notification of any sort • but can still take/make calls through my speaker • the sound is absolutely true, clean and powerful • the response “hey Siri” whether anything is playing or not is so accurate, even from a distance (*at least up to 15ft tested in my home) I’m considering purchasing another (1 or 2) for an area or two more in my home. The current pod is in my bedroom. I’m quite happy with the investment made and addition to my Apple goods!

Love the sound and quality however I took away a star bcz it’s not wireless.. the cord is attached. That’s the only downfall so I’ll keep it on my bedside table, shown in pic.

I love this apple HomePod mini! It’s wayyyy cheaper then the original ones they first released. The speakers are LOUD and I’m happy with this purchase!

From reading the reviews, I expected this thing to immediately blow me away. It didn’t, but I had to give it a proper chance. I put it in a different spot that was more open from obstructions, and gave it a shake to recalibrate its audio scan feature. I played another song and noticed it was sounding a bit better. It’s about 6in from the wall on a shelf 3ft off the ground with some small decor around it. It’s in my bedroom so I wanted it at a height that would reach above the bed. Well, I laid in bed on my laptop while I had some music playing on the HomePod. I noticed it sounds fuller and more balanced when you’re about 6+ feet away from it. Up close, it’s loud and clear, but no depth to the sound. When at this 6-8 foot distance, you can actually notice the HomePod filling the room and the walls resonate with bass. At that point, I was actually impressed this was coming from the little black speaker on my tv stand. I listened to various genres of music, and some bass-lines in LoFi music made me smile. How can something so small and simple make the room seemingly vibrate around me? HomePod is best for someone looking for an always ready speaker to cast your music/audio to from your Apple device. Siri isn’t the brightest AI, but she can make phone calls, send/read texts, and control your smart home well enough. HomePod is for those that love to listen to music and experience proper sound quality while doing so. If you seek brains over sound quality, check out Google’s offerings.

These little HomePods have a great sound for the price, they’re a perfect companion for a HomeKit home to be able to control Siri from each room in the house.

After using built in speakers for years, it is the first time I noticed that the music I listened everyday is so different. That’s it, excellent for me.

Small speaker, small but with premium sound you want to hear the music loud pair two or more and you will have the sound that you might be looking for !

I love my HomePod, but I feel it’s worth mentioning, it’s not portable in that it must be plugged in for use, and it was fairly simple to get going out of the box. I’m in nursing school and it’s been invaluable to me while I’m spending countless hours studying at my desk.

Smaller then I anticipated! Its awesome! The sound it pushes put is still freaking great! Have two homepods love them too! Mini IS AN AMAZING addition!!

I’m nothing if not stunned by the quality of sound from this speaker. Really amazing for its size. Additionally, while watching my Apple TV, I can add the HomePod as an additional speaker along with my Bose sound bar. Talk about making good sound even better! I’m also quite happy with Siri performance. I had read some negative reviews on how much catching up Apple has to do to make Siri more on par with other digital assistants, but as far as running my HomeKit compatible devices, I’m thrilled with Siri’s accuracy and performance. To really enjoy, you’ll want an Apple Music subscription. Pretty much opens up every kind of music imaginable. I wish the price was lower, although it’s worth the money just for the sound quality. Just make sure you DO NOT buy anything from Nest if you want to automate through HomeKit using Siri on the HomePod. Although they have hinted at HomeKit support for a LONG time, there’s no indication Nest cares to be part of the Apple ecosystem (they’re owned by Google, so duh). Unfortunately, Apple is the only company I can thoroughly trust to honor my privacy, so if it’s not HomeKit compatible, I will not buy it. Thankfully there are MANY great alternatives to Nest that ARE HomeKit compatible!

I bought two of these, mainly to replace my soundbar, but also because I’m building my smart house. These are so awesome sounding for their size!

For the size of this smart speaker I can’t believe the sound that comes out from it. Can’t wait to install the new HomeOS this fall.

Great sound for the size of the speaker. Although I preferred the black one but they were out of stock by the time I purchased the white one.
