Love my Pods!

They are synced so that I can now enjoy my music in different rooms in my house. There’s a good chance that I may purchase another one or two in the future. FWIW, I have similar products from other companies. My HomePod minis are far and above the best, and are my favorites.

Best when you pair two or more for stereo surround sound. They do take wifi space. Added three to my Apple network and like the straw that broke the camels back, my dated airport time capsule router started having issues. Time to replace the Apple router!

Amazing sound, great design, easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been waiting for the HomePod since it was announced. The sound is as good as everyone describes. While it doesn’t match a standalone quality amplifier with good speakers, it’s easily the best smart speaker. I have a Harmin/Karden Onyx and the HomePod sounds considerably better in both bass and high range. I’d say the mid range is about the same. Siri is pretty good as well. Right now it’s limited to a few things outside controlling the speaker. One small issue I had was it frequently played the live or the video version of the song.

Do I really need a complete sound system?

It was so easy to set-up. Just plug it in and place your Apple device close to the HomePod an enjoy your favorite tunes! The only complaint I have, is that you cannot link SiriusXM. Overall I rate the system a 5 however, I am giving a 4 because of the SiriusXM.

I love the sound its not as great as the home pod but just as good for the price. Ive used it as an alarm surround sound for my tv and a speaker for my Mac mini and it does a great job. For the size it packs the sound I need for my room and for the price its a Best Buy.

Doesn’t do what I expected.

But it won’t control my mix of smart products including multiple outlets and lights with Smartthings as prime integrator, LG tv, or Arlo cameras (that it is advertised to control), or Yale smart lock (blue tooth with apple compatibility.) My iPhone does control the Yale lock. It just won’t find the devices. Homekit even shows ecobee with ‘controls not available.’ It does find latest Matter enabled devices.
