Great small Speaker, definitely worth the premium when compared to the google home lineup and the amazon lineup of smart speakers. Only connects with apple devices!! Does not use Bluetooth so if your internet is down or you have an android device this will not work! The sound is incredible for the size of the speaker, however it is not mind blowing.

This thing sounds really well compared to a Amazon echo. I bought three of these and switched over my smart home to HomeKit. I used Caseta smart switches with the light switch hub. They respond really well. Now I can turn my lights off with the HomePod, phone, Mac, or iPad. This is a great addition to the Apple Ecosystem if you are invested.

Sounds good for the small size. I like being able to group speakers and have sound throughout the house. Great addition for a smart home to control devices.

Love these little pods. Get multiple and it sets up a nice music sound in your house. We also take it outside and use it by the pool. Connects easily with Apple devices to play music. This is our 3rd one. Definitely recommend.

What is not to love about this smart speaker? Some audiophiles out there will say that it doesn't have the right sound, or it doesn't fill the room...that's all crazy talk! For the size and price of this speaker, it has wonderful sound that is more than enough to fill the room. You can't compare everything to a system that costs thousands of dollars, but you can enjoy the equipment that you have...and this is a great little speaker. The setup is easy, and Siri can hear you whisper from across the room...which is slightly freaky, but good when you need to control this thing. Pair it with a modern iPhone and you have even more control on your screen. Want to take that music on the road? Just hold that iPhone near the top and instantly the music picks up on your phone...or vise versa. I have small smart speakers from other companies, and this one beats them all. To be fair, it is also more expensive than the others. If you want good sound from Apple Music, Pandora, any other streamer, or just from your local iPhone library, then this is the speaker for you. Want to make a sudo-surround/stereo sound type upgrade for your TV? Get two of these and pair them with the Apple TV to give your TV watching a boost!

Awesome sound for such a little device, looks great as well.

I have the original HomePod and this is an improvement. Works great with my Apple TV. I can also use it to listen to music, send texts, ask general questions etc. Apple offers great products. I am not an Apple fan boy as I have android devices also. But apple makes devices that work great. I would recommend this to anyone.

Good size and good sound. Not as good as full size, but still good. Plan to get more of them.

Got the HomePod mini on sale at a great price. I set it up in my small office and it sounds fantastic for a small speaker. It isn't portable so it stays on my desk and it won't go anywhere...my portables are always borrowed and nowhere to be found, but this one plugs in.

Nice sound but this is not a fully matured product. I have had to call AppleCare more than 6 times because of problems such as music playing on my iPhone AND HomePod mini at the same time, transferring from iPhone to HomePod mini intermittently working, HomePod mini just stops playing in the middle of a song. I made sure AppleCare was doing screen sharing and I had the camera open so they can visually witness problems and they admitted what I’m reporting are real problems. I also did screen recordings of other issues and at Applecare’s request, I sent it to them but before they can go to engineering, they require I add new profiles and keep exact logs (dates, times, issues) every time something happens because they said “there’s millions of lines of code so engineering cannot find their own problems with complete detailed information and profile added”. AppleCare offered to replace my NEW HomePod mini with what they call “replacement stock” and when I asked if I would get a new replacement, AppleCare said it would probably be a rebuilt one and not a new one. I paid 100.00 (plus 15.00 for AppleCare) for a NEW HomePod mini and I don’t want a rebuilt replacement. I will not buy other’s as I planned to until this product’s problems are resolved.

I love all apple products including home pod mini. I previously purchased two home pod minis one for my nieces graduation, and one for myself. I decided to get another mini to pair with my other mini plus my HomePod to get Surroundsound with my television sets. It became a game changer for me. Highly I highly recommend the HomePod mini.

This little smart speaker is far better than I expected. It is worth noting that my entire family is immersed in the Apple eco-system. That only enhances the functionality. Sound quality is much better than other speakers in a similar price range. Highs can get a bit “hiss-y” on some music. The average music track is awesome with great, rich sound.

It’s a nice sounding voice activated speaker. But it won’t control my mix of smart products including multiple outlets and lights with Smartthings as prime integrator, LG tv, or Arlo cameras (that it is advertised to control), or Yale smart lock (blue tooth with apple compatibility.) My iPhone does control the Yale lock. It just won’t find the devices. Homekit even shows ecobee with ‘controls not available.’ It does find latest Matter enabled devices.

Nice sound. Great size and quality. I definitely recommend.
