It's a product that is "almost there", but doesn't quite reach the mark. Lack of proper stereo/surround sound support is ridiculous for how much this thing costs.

Waste of money not something that anyone needs save yourself the pain.

Come on it’s 2020 why would they make a speaker that you can’t connect to through Bluetooth. It’s also a little irritating that it doesn’t have a built in battery.

Initial response (8hrs post purchase): although a big fan of everything Apple, but an honest initial opinion - My echo dot paired with Bose soundlink II is better. Connects to many more devices/light switches, plays music from prime/Pandora, etc, Alexa is more responsive, bose speaker is portable. I’m not yet impressed with HomePod (although it plays my Apple Music library). The first time “Wow” maybe for folks who didn’t use Alexa hooked to quality speakers and didn’t really use smart home devices. Will try another week. Maybe I change my opinion.

Wait for next version of the HomePod Does sound good but not better than my Bose Revolve plus! So to actually use this it’s is gonna cost you $120 a year To play music that you already have on iTunes you have to Use the app (ridiculous) Homepod should have Bluetooth I hear no difference in the quality of sound with AirPlay This is one of the few products that I ever took back Made by apple Been a Mac user since 1997

Worse apple product ever. This product is just a speaker and the quality is not good. I will be returning this tomorrow.

Kind of disappointing with how the HomePod has sync issues with the home app. Tried to reset the device and now I cannot re add. Extremely frustrating

Did not work, probably why it was returned in the first place. Best Buy did that it back without and problems.

Bought for my wife because she wanted one but it was not easy for her to set up or utilize. The app to use was even worse. I do not recommend.

This things sucks. Get Amazon echo it’s 75% cheaper than this and works. Homepod minis play their own random music, it’s best when unplugged.

Great for playing music, listening to podcasts and the like. Kind of annoying when asking simple questions that are easily answered via Siri on the iPhone.

I love the HomePod. It very sleek and fit into my office and home decor with ease. It practically invisible due to the great color scheme. Perfect!

Apple starting to pull apps down based upon the speech they feel is non-appropriate! This pod will be used to monitor speech! Buyers beware!

I bought two homepods because I wanted to pair them as a stereo. They individually have a great sound, the problem is when pairing them. Every single time I play music I have to unpair them (Sometimes I have to unpair them 2 or 3 times to get them to sound evenly), then pair them back together because the sound is horribly uneven. This is seriously annoying! I wish I could return them but I purchased them a month ago and I do not have the boxes anymore.

I’m an Apple fanboy and this product was upsetting. Can’t do nearly as much as a $30 echo dot. Can’t turn on my Xbox being the main issue.

Terrible, an expensive paper weight. Never connects to the internet.

Wasn't worth the money for me. Had two to try out the stereo feature. Siri was spotty and the wireless connection just don't work.

Horrible device, does not work wireless! Returned soon after purchased.

This speaker gave AMAZING sound and was the best sounder speaker. But as far as being an assistant, this thing was deplorable.
