I use this thing all the time to play my music and my alarms when i have work it works perfectly fine

We just replaced all of our home devices with HomePods. Everything works great and they sound wonderful. They cost more thanbthe cheaper alternatives, but they’re worth it if quality is important to you.

The speaker itself is great. The sound quality is really nice. However, apple really needs to update Siri. The speaker works amazing for music but if you do want to ask it a question, Siri never knows anything.

Setup was easy, Siri can somehow always hear me so I never have to shout, the controls are all easy, it syncs up with my other Apple devices really really well, and it sounds way better than it has the right to. It’s super bass-ey without drowning out any of the mids or highs.

I can not believe the amount of sound that comes out of this speaker. I have 2 that are linked and it completely fills the room with amazing sound. Plus the Siri feature on these is pretty amazing!!

Bought this to replace an old Amazon Echo dot. We are all in on the Apple ecosystem so this fit right in. The sound quality is much better than the Echo was. Using voice commands we can run various smart devices in our home with Apple HomeKit.

Such easy set up and has just a powerful sound that you can’t even tell it is mini. Great for travel.

This is a good sounding speaker for its size. If you pair the speaker with another HomePod mini sounds even better. They're some issues though that Apple still has not figured out. Pairing speakers work well with iOS devices and Apple TV. For some reason pairing speakers does not work with Macs. There is delay on playing any videos on Mac with the speakers. Apparently, pairing the speakers to play with other devices is not a good idea. I have realized that this speaker is best working independently as a single or pair, then you will have a good experience.

I couldn’t make it connect for the first 3-4 days I had it but it eventually worked, other than that. It works perfectly, especially in small rooms/echoey like a bathroom

I was hesitant of buying home pods for every store room at the massive price tag when I already have a good sound in most of my rooms. HomePod minis allow me to integrate across the house like Google or Alexa smart home devices with a marginally larger price point. I’ll apples EI is less intelligent than Google Alexa the Apple in a Gratian such as turning on Apple TV is in the attic security from Apple service makes it well worth the investment. I am hopeful for added features in the coming update in September however her most Apple new devices and a great first product
