Great sound and easy setup. Note that this plugs into your household outlets so not really portable like the taps are.

It’s a nice sounding voice activated speaker. But it won’t control my mix of smart products including multiple outlets and lights with Smartthings as prime integrator, LG tv, or Arlo cameras (that it is advertised to control), or Yale smart lock (blue tooth with apple compatibility.) My iPhone does control the Yale lock. It just won’t find the devices. Homekit even shows ecobee with ‘controls not available.’ It does find latest Matter enabled devices.

The audio quality and how loud it can get is very loud and i love it!

For its size it is amazing sound ! Easy setup, Siri is quite responsive.

I purchased two units so I could set them up in stereo configuration and I couldn’t be happier! Coming from an Amazon echo I honestly thought I would miss the bass but since then I haven’t really thought about it. It may sound crazy but I prefer to use the HomePod Minis in my room without the bass that would come with larger units. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Everybody I know hates on this thing! People say it sounds like crap (for music), and while this may certainly be true when comparing it to Apple’s larger HomePod—but it IS only $99! We have a full ecosystem of Apple products throughout our home, including 4 HomePods (one being the Mini), and for example, this one is for our 6-year old daughter’s bedroom for mainly white noise sound machine at night and quick and easy music via voice commands. It’s pretty great actually! No complaints

It is louder than I expected, and controlling HomeKit devices while not on the home network. Got it on sale. I suggest waiting for a sale to get a good price.

I bought this for my son to use in the bathroom, speak sound is good and great size for a small room.

The Apple HomePod not only works flawlessly it seamlessly connects with the other apple devices in my household. Also seems to respond better than any model of the Amazon Alexa that I've had.

Has very good sound for such a small speaker but trying to work out how to set defaults and work in coordination with Apple TV, Apple Watch and iPhone. So many questions and things to try to figure out to make it work the way you would like.

Super easy set up with an iPhone through the Home app. Set this up in my daughters room now she can listen to all the music she wants through Apple Music and she can easily activate it using her phone or saying hey siri!
