Purchased this item as a gift based on in-store demo and previous experiences with Apple products. Build and sound quality are very good for the price.

So this is my first HomePod I am starting with the mini I am eventually switching out Alexa to apple so I can use one eco system. So far using this device its HomeKit has been a dream it works flawlessly.

I have two of these minis. They have an awesome sound. They work like left and right speakers. Would recommend them.

Due to some wifi issue I can’t seem to set up my home pod yet… irritating but I will figure it out or ill end up taking it back, either way. Apple all the way!!!

Christmas present to myself. I mostly wanted it for music, possibly more Home kit stuff in the future. works well for me. I use lots of Apple products and services so I find it easy to use and convenient. I got my first one from BB for $200 - new on sale. (Probably would not have paid the regular price of $299.) I liked it so much I went back and bought a second one to setup a stereo pair in my living room. Sounds very nice for that listening space. A good wifi internet connection in the room where you place it is needed otherwise you are unlikely to find it useful. Mine occasionally looses the internet and needs to be reset (I unplug the unit wait a few seconds and plug it back in. Open the Home app on my iPhone and check settings. Sometimes it is checking for/waiting for an update). I use iTunes Match and can ask Siri to play any of my hundreds of albums or any of the thousand of individual songs I have uploaded to my iTunes Match account and the HomePod plays them. I love the instant voice activated access to all of my music. Also works with my Apple TV if I want to use the HomePods for my TV sound output. Good product if you know what you are buying and what the current and future uses are/will be with new Home kit functionality and new compatible devices becoming available.

Was a little worried at first. It was an awesome experience the delivery person was very nice. Going to definitely buy more from best buy! 3 months with the HomePod and it's fantastic.

Good sound quality but weird how the volume for music is much higher than when speaking to Siri itself
