Love this little speaker for the size, sound quality and volume! Plus having Siri throughout my home is so much easier and less noticeable than the huge original HomePod.

I am using two of these in a stereo pair for my apple tv 4k (1st generation) speakers. They are substantially better than probably all TV speakers in this configuration. I have never heard any dropouts or connection issues, and there is no lag. The midrange and treble is excellent and the soundstage is wide with the stereo configuration. There is some bass tones but not deep, low bass. Overall, very impressive for the small size. It is very nice to be able to change the TV volume directly on the units.

Great and secure smart speaker. Great sound doesn’t distort at max volume. Siri works great on it and the intercom feature works great. Picked up two more for my office and for work.

wonderful sound out of such a small speaker. I have a larger home pod in my kitchen. but wanted one in the living room/dining room for entertaining. it's perfect. and easy to set up.

Sound quality is good, but the volume level could be higher for open or large rooms. I was under the impression that you could stream the same music across multiple apple devices, such as listen to apple music on the HomePod and Apple TV at the same time, you can not. You can only listen on multiple HomePods. Love the feature of being able to intercom in the house and from outside the house. The ability use the same features as your phone without your phone in the room is extremely handy. My only real two complaint is that the cord is permanently attached, it would be nice to have the ability to lengthen the cord for optimum placement in the room and the ability to add an auxiliary cord so you could add it to a home theater amp.

Perfect mini speaker! Definitely worth the price! Honestly cheap for an Apple product. Can connect to tv and speaker simultaneously, has amazing sound, bass and very loud!

Never expected sound this good from something this small. I already have the full sized HomePod which to me has been great. The main pain points for any HomePod are if you're not really vested in the Apple ecosystem. If you are, like I am, then these are fantastic add-on products to build out enhanced sound and HomeKit devices. The sound from the mini is truly impressive for it's size. I know there are arguments regarding sounds and quality and value all day everywhere. Sound quality is subjective to the user. It's just the way it is. For me, this little guy fills out a corner or a desk with lows, mids, and highs. Very much worth the cost here.

Best virtual assistant if you’re an apple fan! I’ve had and tried amazons Alexa and googles Home and when I say that both of those were the worst that I’ve ever used I mean it! Both of them have a deaf fit where you can scream at the top of your lungs for them and they will never turn on but the video ur watching is at 2 volume and it says hey David and it goes off. The only good thing about both of those were the apps the user interface was nice and the customizability was really nice. But what good are those if the thing can’t hear you half the time. This HomePod not only is it loud the sound quality is beautiful but it can hear you ALWAYS you can whisper you can yell you can even be downstairs and it upstairs and it will HEAR YOU. It is extremely responsive to your questions to your demands to turning on and off smart devices. It is and should be the center of your home the base station because it works so well! And not only that but it is also very aesthetically pleasing it’s not terrible to look at whatsoever. It has nice features like if you have audio on your phone playing u can either just go to ur control center and put it on it, or my favorite way just walk up to it and hold ur phone above it and it connects instantly to your audio. I also really love how when you are playing audio on it and you get it’s attention it just lowers the audio while still playing it, it’s just a nice touch and seems seamless. It’s definitely the best virtual assistant around and should be your number one pick.

My family loves these. We also have HomePods in our basement. These minis were quick and easy to setup to a mesh system and paired them together, each on a different side of our living room. Absolutely no issues. Definitely sounds better with stereo pair than without. We can also have all HomePods and both mini play at the same time in different floors and rooms just by asking. Sounds far better than the echoes or shows we have from Amazon, even newer ones. We also use the automation so when we get home or unlock our door, music plays and lights come on. All easy to setup. Definitely glad we got them and plan on getting more.

A tiny speaker with intelligent assistant and packs a mighty punch for its size. Competitors’ smart speakers such as Google and Alexa are good and equally capable but, to me, do not have nearly a refined crystal clear audio. Siri can be, as every smart assistant, a bit fickle with certain commands at time. Yet I find that this for now is a common feature of all intelligent speakers. I’m partial to the HomePod and its mini sibling because of my familiarity with each. I wouldn’t trade Apple devices for [fill in your favorite smart home companion’s brand] because it’s been overall a great device to use. 5 stars and 5 thumbs up!

Great sound, for such a small product, love the color

I have two of these in the bedrooms and combined to the sound bar connected to Apple TV in the living rooms, it’s a great setup. The minis are surprisingly good for the price and pair super easily to my phone and other devices. Siri works great as well. Recommended.

It's perfect for my living room and complements the other one I have perfectly.

No more yelling for the kids to come down for dinner or school . We use the intercom feature every day. This is not just a Bluetooth speaker. It can be playing one song on Apple Music while I’m playing a totally different song on my cell phone. It’s got the tech built in. Also room temp and fire alarm detection. With check on someone if it detects a fire alarm. It’s great!

This smaller HomePod puts out excellent sound. I have not tried pairing two of them to enable the stereo sound. However one by itself in a room sounds amazing. With that being said it’s sound is not on the same level as the larger HomePod. If you want something you can crank up and have bass come from, then you’ll want the regular HomePod. I have two regular ones so I decided to get these in order to add to my Apple ecosystem and have more speakers throughout the house to play music from as I move about. Or have a way to control Apple enabled devices throughout my home, if my phone wasn’t nearby. Overall I would recommend this speaker.

Excellent sound quality and volume especially considering how small it is. Siri commands work just as well as on iPhone. My only complaint is more Apple wide, which is the deliberate lack of interoperability with anything non Apple (including bluetooth). So, no, it is not a bluetooth speaker. No, it will not work with Android. No, there are no ports. No, it is not rechargeable/have batteries. Yes, it is a Homekit hub and also can control Matter devices natively. Yes, it supports 5g wi-fi signals n band only.

Very easy to setup. Excellent sound quality for a device this size. Cannot use Spotify with your voice commands. But will play if you start it from your phone first. Hoping Apple and Spotify will get this issue resolved in a future update.
