Awesome sound for the size! Now I can get stereo sound throughout my apt.

Know what you are getting before you purchase. This is most differently not the Home Pod. I have 2 Home Pods and they are great, I'm very happy with them. This Mini is exactly that...a mini version the Home Pod. Meaning everything is mini. The sound is mini compared to the Home Pod. The highs are not as crisp, the mids seem to be too pronounced and the lows are lacking. The volume (how loud it gets) is probably half if not less than the Home Pod. Is this good for a large room, no. Is this good for a medium room...maybe if you don't want room filling music. Its best for smaller rooms like a bedroom (not master), bathroom and kitchen. Siri is Siri and like Siri its just ok. It does everything the Home Pod does. So knowing what I now know, I would only buy this for small rooms where music is not your priority, like my master bathroom. My comparison: I bought this to replace a Bose SoundLink Mini 2 (Bluetooth version) (the name may be off a little), the Bose is louder and maybe sounds better,, it does have better lows. So for sound I'd stick with my Bose but for functionality Siri integration made the difference. I hated that my phone always had to be near. Those with a Home Pod know what I mean when I say Siri integration won...wifi whit "hey Siri" jus made it too convenient. my advice to you all is know what you are getting and set the right exceptions up front.

I love this multifunctional speaker. Great sound for such a compact unit, gives Bose a run for its money. I love being able to tell it to turn my lights on and off. The only drawback is when there is anything on tv that says “Hey Siri” the speaker will perform what it says.

The Apple HomePod is great. We purchased the smaller one earlier this year and liked it so much we decided to purchase the larger one and we are so happy with our purchase. The sound quality is great and it is so easy to use.

Ready to set up and play. Just a with this was wireless too.

The HomePod is definitely best for the Apple-Centric, but the sound quality is amazing, HomeKit interfaces with a wide variety of smart devices, and it works pretty seamlessly right out of the box.

It's awesome except I wish it were wireless. I have to keep it plugged in 24/7 and it gets hot at times.

I purchased an open box item and save a few bucks. Be advised, this was one of two open box HomePod mini's I purchased that I had to download the latest software just to get it to function. In order to do this it is easiest to use a MacBook or other OS X device but you can do it with Windows. You have to directly connect the power cable to your computer, select the device, then download the software. Once that is complete, everything worked fine.
