The HomePod Mini is a good price for what it is, and is has good sound quality. It's also great that if you're in the Apple ecosystem that this device further integrates with your HomeKit accessories. The biggest negative is Siri -- the voice-command AI is just not nearly as sophisticated, responsive, or understanding as it's competitors such as Alexa.

We have 2 of them and they work very well together!

I think the sound is pretty good but the fact that there's a lag when using zoom is kind of a bummer.

Great little speaker. Best used in a bedroom or small room

Great sound but I'm returning because I realized it doesn't work as a Bluetooth speaker for watching tv.

The speaker is great, but it is more than a speaker, it is a home base for your smart home. As with most things Apple, this doesn’t play well with others. but there is a growing list of apple homekit enabled accessories. The speaker is well balanced, not all tinny like the clock radio that it replaced in my kitchen. I use it to control music with my voice while I wash dishes, put timers on my cooking tasks when i have messy fingers or full hands, and to catch up on the news and weather for the day. While i’m away from the house, it relays the information from my homekit enabled cameras by netatmo and baby monitor from arlo in the home app without sending my data through their servers. Amazon speakers want to sell you stuff from amazon, google speakers want to advertise to you, the homepod just wants to keep your stuff secure. That limits your compatibility but it is worth it to me.

The HomePod speakers not only have great highs and lows for my favorite songs from Apple Music, but having Siri to keep me informed with news and weather without using my phone is such a treat. It can recognize my voice while the TV is playing. I loved my first HomePod so much that I now have three throughout the house. I also use my HomePods to turn smart lights on and off or change colors with just a “Hey Siri”. Pausing a video on AppleTV with just my voice is so convenient. Like a certain big movie, it really ties the house together!

Very External mini speaker it's not louder than the homepod itself but does follow up behind it!
