I paid $199. Sounds So good and easy set up. It has like 8 speakers in this lil boom box. Bose I don’t know but this Lil speaker listen too.

Had been given the original Echo as a gift and used it largely to play music in my bedroom. My wife asked to use it this Christmas downstairs to play holiday music. She got hooked on the timer capability and asked to keep it down there. Was reluctant to buy a HomePod as I listen to Pandora frequently and didn't want to be bothered with Apple Play. Bought one anyway when it went on sale at Best Buy for $100 off. Absolutely blows away the Echo in terms of sound...really nice bass and crisp acoustics. Found that Apple Music fit my needs when I did a bit of exploring. Great purchase. Would recommend.

I got this as my second HomePod mini and love the surround sound feature. The cord is corded and not like the normal white one that can break over time. The HomePod has a C cord that plug into the block that's provided.

I love my mini. It’s effective, reliable and always connected.

Almost a year in and the HomePod is still working like day one. Never any issues. We do keep it unplug when not in use.

Love Apple products but these are hot garbage. Want to use Siri on any device in proximity of one of these? Too bad, this interrupts everything. Want to play anything other than music on a few? Too bad, this can hardly connect to stream music from a single Mac. Want use the mic for meetings? Hah! Get bent, nerd. Do you want extremely limited functionality in a proprietary device? Now we're talking! The speaker is good for the size but otherwise unimpressive considering the other options. Apple slept on the wireless component so it's an Apple Chromecast sorta that sometimes connects to other Apple devices? Build quality is remarkable. After mine interrupted me asking Siri to take a screenshot on my phone and began playing death metal, I spiked it into tile floor because tapping the HAL eye doesn't make it shut up. It still looks brand new! Just get a normal bluetooth speaker and your experience will be remarkably better.

Bought this open box item while on sale with an additional discount. It is our second creating stereo in our family room/kitchen area. Easy setup and great sound.

I really enjoyed this product. Great sound, good size and not a bad price. You just can’t go wrong with Apple products. Not sure about the home features like turning on/off lights, hear etc.

Sound quality is decent but ongoing connection issues are very frustrating. Also, Siri rarely works propertly. I have only Apple products (MacBook, phone, watch, TV etc) and been using them for years, and this product is my first major disappointment. Online forums show this to be a regular issue with the HomePod. We received an Amazon Echo Pop with our new home purchase, and while I favor Apple and their privacy policies over Amazon, I will say the Echo just works, and never seems to have issues. If you're looking for a rock solid addition to the Apple ecosystem (as I was) I'd pass on this.

Nifty Apple product! Connects easily to all of your Apple devices. Its not a speaker for non Apple products. It even connects to other HomePod devices. Great buy!

This speaker is overpriced at $300 but if you can get it cheaper it's so worth it. Not the best smart speaker, but by far the best sound.
