The sound clarity on this speaker is absolutely amazing a definitely worth the extra money from the Alexa much better choice from the Alexa

Great quality speaker from Apple. It does lack some features that the Amazon Alexa and Google Home have, but what separates this speaker from the rest is the sound quality. Excellent base from the lowest setting to 100% without distortion, as well as excellent sound quality. This speaker can connect to other smart devices as long as they are connected to the Apple HomeKit app. Once connected with the app this speaker can control smart lights, smart thermostats, and even alarm systems.

Doesn’t have the punch of the original HomePod but the proximity sensor for the phones is great and they pair together nicely for computer speakers. Be nice if they had Bluetooth or radio signals but there you go.

I got it after getting the white one to use as a pair for dual speakers for my Apple TV

I am a huge Apple fan buy wasn’t sure the Home Pod would be all that useful to me. I don’t have a lot of HomeKit enabled devices and I already have Siri on the my phone and iPad and a Bluetooth speaker fo play music and podcasts. So what use could I have for a HomePod. Let me say...I was wrong. I use those everyday. The sound is AMAZING. If you have other Apple products you need to add this to the collection

It’s objectively nice to be able to say “Hey Siri” and start playing music, control my Apple TV, or ask questions. The voice recognition is spotty, though, and frequently doesn’t react or does something other than what I said—the worst of which was a “play something else” voice command that played a different song by the exact same band. Siri issues aside, though, this speaker is great. Nice volume and great sound, plus it’s able to work with HomeKit (though I don’t have anything to test that functionality). Definitely recommended.

Great sound for its size Apple has really stepped up the sound quality in the smart home speaker game but it still falls behind Google and Amazon when it comes to the smart part

If youre in the apple home ecosystem this is a no brainer to purchase and add to your smart devices.

I have three HomePod minis in my home. I purchased additional HomePod minis for my nieces and nephew. They absolutely love them!

Cool device and the mic can hear you from super far away. I just wanted to use Siri to turn off my Phillips Hue bulbs and this works well.

Awesome device, sorry to hear  is discontinuing them for the HomePod mini. I own two of these larger devices and love the sound from them. We love it at home because we can speak to it and it can automate actions through HomeKit or play our music. Also we like the ability to answers phone calls through the device. I am going to try a pick up one more before they are sold out every where.
