Disappointment with Apple support
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have not been able to have the Apple Home Pod mini work as advertised. For starters, I was not informed that two Home Pod minis had to work with just one of the units sharing the same network to enjoy the intercom function. Evidently this was not noted in the Apple instruction. In addition after discussing the handoff music playing feature for one hour each with four senior level support people who did a lot of experimenting, I was told the problem must be with my Nighthawk router and asked me to update the it. This too did not solve the problem. If all you want from Home Pod mini is the time of day or access to Wikipedia, then the Home Pod mini is for you. I am a fervent supporter and purchaser of Apple products but the Home Pod mini and the level of support leaves much to be desired. My concern about Apple support also applies to the lack of knowledge shown by senior personnel who tried with minimal success to resolve transfer problems from my Mac mini and my recently acquired 27” iMac.
