The HomePod delivers great sound and set up was a snap. The 5 star rating is for sound only. I am not sure it would be the way to go if you are looking for a "smart home" system.

Great product. It’s like having your iPhone with a mega speaker in your pocket. I have two and they sync together so I can play the same thing though out the house.

Get this home pod for Christmas and Best Buy had a great price on it . Sound quality is great and works well with Apple Music. Alexa is better than Seri however. Just saying...

Big sound from a small package and Siri to turn off the lights so I can be lazy and stay in bed at night, or wake up the kiddo without leaving the room.

I want to love this product but currently in a holding pattern with Apple Techs to have them fix the multi-user mode. Hoping all goes well and this device will be more functional. Audio is great, much better than most similar sized and larger smart speakers.

We love the HomePod. it gives us a great experience in our bedroom. We love the ease of asking questions to Siri and also love the Ambient Sounds at night.

I have amazon echo show, sonos one and google home. I bought this homepod and believe the homepod has the best sound quality. Not that smart compared to google or alexa but it sounds great.

Best home speaker. If you use Apple products you should definitely go with this over Amazon or Google. Way better privacy and very good sounds.

For first time users of Apple’s HomePod series speakers, I would give these speakers 5 stars. However, I already own the HomePods, which are awesome! The HomePod minis don’t sound nearly as good as the HomePods. That’s why they only get 3 stars.

I am an apple fan, but comparing it worth Alexa is not worth it, the music is cool but it has issues when you take calls using it, also is confused when I played music directly in it and I don't want to have the phone connected

I've wanted one forever, and now that they've gone on sale (which means I'm sure a new model comes out soon) I'm in love with this thing! So much sound!

These have great sound and it’s nice to have another Siri companion that listens better than any other apple product when there’s a lot of noise around

We now have multiple homepods that are controlling the lights and music throughout the house. We love the convenience and are training our cleaning staff on how to talk to them!

I love the HomePod. This is my second one. I have them paired for music in two different rooms. It is a great speaker with the best sound. I would recommend it.

The sound that comes out of this speaker is insane. I'm just waiting to be able to control my smart plugs from this device like I do with Alexa.

I’m a big Apple person. Speaker is pricey but well worth it. Sounds good and powerful. Would recommend having Apple Music subscription. Would suggest doing a little research before buying. There is no Bluetooth option but iPhone can connect using Airplay.

Great sound. Use for tv surround sound and it’s amazing. Top is sensitive, cat paws have turned it on in the middle of the night, but good quality.

Replaced an Amazon Echo with this. The sound is so much more richer and fuller. I love how well it fits into my Apple ecosystem. However, I do wish I could control more non-Apple devices with it. But I think that will come with time

This speaker reproduces high, low, and mid range frequencies with equal finesse and clarity. And everyting occurs automatically with no manual adjustments. Typical Apple quality.
