Good hardware, lousy software.

The HomePod Siri software 5.2 is terrible and needs a lot of work. Too many times Siri tells me "I'm on it, still working, this is taking too long" and then does nothing. I have to reboot the HomePods nearly every day just to listen to some music, get a weather report or any other simple task from Siri.

Subpar audio quality, limited audio sources

You couldn’t hear certain tones that would harmonize certain songs. The handoff is flawed. I can’t play audio from any streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. I love the idea of it- it needs serious updates which I’m sure Apple will progressively do with each release of the “newer versions.” Guess I’ll wait for the upgraded ones
