Didn't put out a whole lot of sound. Siri wasn't as responsive as I had hoped. The process for getting it to connect to an Apple TV was nowhere near as seamless as it should be. Returned it and hoping for an update to this line of products soon.

Cool product but doesnt have the same capability as the regular HomePod.

The sound quality of these speakers is great, particularly when used in pairs. If I had reviewed them immediately after I set them up I probably would have given them 4 stars (minus 1 for horrible ability to answer questions). However, after the near continuous "hmmm I'm having trouble connecting to the internet. Check the home app for details" my opinion is much lower. I have learned that the speakers require a hard reboot to reestablish the connection. This happens at least couple times a week. I have almost given up and just use my phone to stream to the speakers to avoid the frustration. I don't have this issue with smart speakers from Google or Amazon. At $400 for the pair (on sale) there shouldn't be these issues.

Works really well if you have Apple Music and has great sound quality

I rarely right reviews and usually only when it's something I really like, but I had to share this. I'm an apple user for everything so I was looking forward to getting this. Unfortunately, I've had several issues. 1 - it's the only device in my house that has trouble connecting to the wifi/internet frequently. 2 - doesn't work as seamlessly with my devices as my echo. 3 - keeps asking me who's speaking even though I'm the only person in my household. 4 - frequently gets my messages wrong even though my iPhone has no problem understanding me. 5 - volume when playing music doesn't get very loud. 6 - started playing noises and flashing lights in the middle of the night as if it were an alarm of some sort but when I asked what was up she said something about almonds.

HomePod it’s easy to use and the sound is very clear I like it.

Awesome sound but wish it could be portable with rechargeable batteries.

Great smart speaker, especially if you’re deep in the Apple ecosystem. We use it while watching programs thru Apple TV...but if you ever connect another Apple device to it, you’ll have to connect again. Also watch for sales that often bring the price $50 or more off retail.

Space gray is close to black these home pod minis are hard.to setup

I would definitely not recommend this product, with that being said. The reason why is because I thought you could pair them together to listen to music but you can only just do one at a time apparently. So if you want dual speakers don’t waste your time just get a different brand like Sony

Ought for my eight year old. You have to have Apple Music to play music.

Nice Apple product, but…works very well with other Apple products, but is not a true BluTooth speaker that can be paired with other products. It also had other issues, including sound quality was not as hoped for. In the end, the pair of the HomePod Minis were returned.

This speaker has a great sound! I would recommend this speaker.

Excellent sound and clear bass. I didn’t like how integrated it was with my iPhone. It was an extra step to put my iPhone on speaker when a call came in. I wish you could turn off phone calls and just use it as a smart speaker but you can’t.

I had to get a replacement speaker from the Apple store. I had this speaker for a month and it just stopped responding. I tried resetting it and it still wouldn’t respond. Took it to an Apple store for inspection and they ended up replacing it. It sounds great and Siri is awesome.
