While the sound is quite good there are a few issues, typical Apple delivery. If I tell it to remind me of something it seldom actually does. If I want to listen to some things from Amazon Prime on it - I can’t because “airplay is not allowed”. I can’t use it with Hulu at all for the same reason. While it’s not impossible to connect, it is NOT as easy as a simple Bluetooth speaker would be. Finally - if i set a timer while I watch something, the timer will not play thru the speaker. Can anyone explain the logic of this to me? The same thing happens if I’m using Bluetooth headphones with any Apple product. If I had it to do over again - I’d simply by a Bluetooth speaker and save money.

Awesome sound but could use Siri a lot more updates could help

The homepod home mini is great. Set up can be a bit of a challange. I had to factory reset mine to get mine properly working and connected. The chord isnt detachable from the body. But other than that it is great.

This is a great speaker. However, I found that the interface with my iPhone and iPad was spotty. Also, the fact that it does not do bluetooth is a real drawback. The sound quality of the HomePod is excellent. Because its interface is spotty, I chose "not" for recommending to a friend.

I love so much my HomePod then give great sound and also then can do so much thinks like help you unlock door help turn off the light help read story also Siri can help call someone if you need and so much fun on HomePod

This definitely sounds great but is too many limitations.

The sound from the apple-home pod is very clean and clear

I purchased an Open Box white Apple HomePod voice activated speaker and I am extremely happy with it. The delivery was on time and the speaker's condition is exactly as advertised! Wonderful experience; great speaker!

Just seems to be a speaker...can't figure out how to link them

The setup on this was tricky especially if you have 2 different wifi accounts in the house. Make sure your phone/ipad are set up on the same wifi system as the homepod once that is correct this beauty is amazing!

Sounds good in a small to medium sized room. If you’re in the Apple ecosystem it’s pretty awesome. Only problem I have is Siri gets confused if I say hey Siri with my iPhone in the same room as the speaker. The speaker on sale is a no brainer.

Great sound but I bought 2 to work with my Apple TV I’m stereo mode and I keep getting a delay from the screen to the speakers. The sound quality is excellent but I may end up just using them for music and not as a surround sound.

Best thing I've ever bought for my home. So nice to add this kind of automation to my life. Works very well. Understands everything I say. Works great with my iPhone. Very usefull.

Sound is compelling! A lot of tech in a this device.

Like most reviewers have already pointed out the HomePod was built for music and less as a smart speaker. Enjoy listening to music. Speakers have a lot of base, restricts the place it can be used. If it was portable I would rate it 5/5.

I did not know that these were going to be discontinued when I purchased it. I wish I would have gotten a second one to fill the room better. Now they are double the price on eBay. Unfortunately this will not sync with the mini speakers.

First off if you live in the Apple ecosystem this would normally be a no brained BUTTTT it’s priced $150 too much for what it is. Sure you get a great audio quality product, robust build quality, ability to control your Apple Music, speaker phone and other BASIC Siri functions but it needs to do more. I would love nothing more than to replace my Sonos ecosystem with multiple HomePods but the price is far too much, Siri without a screen to link you to a webpage is seriously lacking and inability to control some of the more popular smartphone products (nest I’m looking st you) it makes for a hard pill to swallow. HomePod I so want you to work, Apple please come in-line with proper pricing and at minimum allow Spotify...please.

Simply put: this is the best sounding smart home speaker on the market! Is it more expensive? Yes. Could it do more "smart" things? Yes. Do I care? No. It is the best on the market!

Dull sound and not smooth to connect. Not a good product. Very surprised as I am an Apple fan.
