Love these devices. Great sound and very easy to set up and use

Sound is top notch and clear. Not so loud that they would distort but more than enough to fill the room with sound. If you can I'd get two and use them as a pair.

The speaker sounds amazing, but I'm a little disappointed with the lack of open bluetooth for this speaker. My intention was to use this with my M1 Mac mini, but due to the fact it only uses airplay and not bluetooth, there is a constant 2-3 second delay for nearly all sounds played. Additionally, you can't set it to be used to play system sounds for some reason, and they disconnect from the Mac when not used/when the Mac sleeps so you must manually select the HomePods as your audio output source each time. Apple definitely is missing the mark on these as the don't "just work" for me. Hopefully they update them via software to enable bluetooth. As a speaker paired with my iPhone they sound phenomenal and definitely say they're worth it if bought on sale - just not worth it for my use case I suppose!

This is my first HomePod. I have been an Alexa user up until now. I really like to ease in which it interfaces with my other apple devices. I have it in my office and other iPhone users I meet with have seen it come up on their phone and it has been distracting. There maybe a setting to avoid that but I haven't found it yet. The sound quality is good and haven't regretted getting the mini.

Easy to set up. Great sound despite the size. Wish it was a cordless or cord-negative design. Intercom feature is nice although not utilized too much. Just purchased a second unit for surround sound

Fantastic small speaker. Gave it as a gift and the bass on it is pretty good for being a small speaker. I thought it would potentially have a small flatter sound but it’s got a pleasing sound

Love it, I bought this product for my bathroom while I shower and it has exceeded my expectations. It is very loud, user friendly, and works off my current apple music subscription.

Easy to use. Especially if you have all Apple devices. The sound is amazing for its size and you can send sound from any Apple device to it. Thinking about getting another one.

Great product from a small speaker. The footprint is very small. Works great with Siri. Could easily ask for weather updates. I currently placed it in my bathroom to listen to music getting ready.

Five stars but realize these speakers have some limitations. They sound great but volume is somewhat limited. The value is good compared to the larger Apple Home Pods, but less clear when compared with other bluetooth speakers. ie Alexa. They work well with Apple music, but not always with the other streaming services. Check before buy to see if the one(s) you use will work. I wish the cords were detachable so when they wear out you could just buy a new cord. I haven't yet figured out how to use these with my iPad as well as my iPhone. I also have a Samsung Galaxy and haven't been able to figure out if that will work as well. As always the big question is how long with they last.

I have a pair of the home pods so I decided to get a pair of the smaller ones. They have great sound and were very easy to set up. They take up less room and are nice looking on my end tables.

The HomePod is an amazing piece of tech. The A8 chip allows for it to equalize the audio according to the space that it is in allowing a more linear frequency response. The resulting sound is rich and clear regardless of the volume. Initial setup was a breeze thanks to the ease of the Apple ecosystem with my iPhone being in close proximity to the HomePod and then automatically configuring everything. The Hey Siri detection is quite good with it being able to pick up your voice command from across an average sized room even despite the music from the HomePod playing loudly. Siri is useful in terms of navigating throughout the vast musical library of Apple Music and doing basic commands for reminders, notes, weather, directions, store hours and messages/calls. However, in terms of a global search level, Siri can not compete with the superior Google Assistant. The downside to this speaker is that it can only be used with other Apple devices and Apple Music. However as someone who has everything Apple and is deeply invested into the ecosystem, it doesn’t matter to me. If you want to play Spotify or audio from other services, you’ll have to Airplay to the HomePod. In conclusion, this is a well engineered speaker with a fairly capable voice assistant included. Probably the best sounding smart speaker out there!

I currently own multiple Alexa devices and quite honestly the HomePod Mini surpasses Alexa in so many ways, especially when it comes to sound quality. The sound on this tiny speaker is, simply put, exceptional. With HomeKit devices that are compatible with Alexa as well, Siri has so far has executed 95% of my requests. With the same devices, Alexa only executes about 60% of my requests. And this thing also has voice recognition capability! Definitely worth the money in my opinion and will be looking to buy more in the future and transition out Alexa completely.

We have two HomePod mini's that we run in stereo with an Apple Tv. They sound excellent for their small size and setup with a breeze. However, they're incredibly buggy right now. When activating Siri via voice, sometimes the HomePods will completely hang and say they're having trouble connecting to the internet. Other times when trying to push audio to the HomePods from our devices it will hang, play out of one speaker or not play at all. We have to reset the devices multiple times a day. These issues might be due to the nature of running them as a stereo pair so if you're getting just one, you might be fine. However if you plan to get multiple to use in the same room, I'd say avoid them for now.

Amazing sound and it looks awesome! I am very pleased with the Mini Home Pod through Apple. It’s easy to navigate it’s functionality! My young daughter uses it to help her with homework, lol.

Amazing speaker if you live in a small apartment or if you already have the regular sized HomePod. This one is great for a small office or a room. I would highly recommend it. And very affordable

Great little speaker! As with any apple products this was a little pricy but the sound quality is very nice. Especially with two of them working in stereo together. Set up was quick and easy.

The Apple HomePod system is much better than Amazon's Echo system. We no longer get random advertisements shouted at us in the middle of the night. The audio performance, even on the HomePod Mini, is very good. I like being able to play music throughout the house and have it sound good.
