Hard to use

Worst apple product. Ever!

Between two very tech savvy apple eco system people, it took us over 4 hours to figure out how to configure and get them hooked up and functioning properly. Very low volume (in its highest setting) when using them as Apple tv speakers. Watched a couple hours of tv with them the first night On the second night. Turned on the tv and the speakers refused to connect to the Apple TV. Would randomly play music for no reason even without a voice or physical prompt. As if they were haunted. How to control them is very unintuitive as well - through the home app. This whole thing needs to be redesigned from the ground up. What a joke. These are being returned tomorrow. Worst apple purchase. Ever. Avoid these horrid things!

HomePod suffers from the same issues as any Bluetooth speaker. Connectivity. Not as problematic as Bluetooth, but AirPlay is still not perfect just yet. Music would stop after 5 seconds, or music wouldn’t play at all. AirPlay 2 technology is a gimmick.
