I purchased this item Black Friday 2019. I returned it after 10 days of trying to get it connected to my internet. I kept getting error messages and I did everything google suggested. Overall I love Apple products wish I could have gotten it to work.

Junk. The first 13 months was fabulous in being amazed with the sound from this. Then immediately after an automatic system update, the speaker began to continually disconnect from my iPhone, and makes a loud popping noise when it does. It is totally useless now. Others have had this same experience. Apple told me there was nothing they will do to keep me satisfied regarding this very expensive speaker that only lasted 13 months. So I searched for something less expensive with good sound. Found the Sony XB41 on sale for $150.

Good but could be better, firmware needs to be better.

Not a fan as it wouldn’t work on my network. I called apple to confirm and they said unless I had a regular router one you can plug into them it wouldn’t work with my apartment in dwelling router.

She does it all except control my Apple TV which is not cool

If you want to ruin your life and want to waste time and money sure go ahead. Buy this. Otherwise alexa-echo is the right choice so far.

Thought I'd try it, and it was not bad, but was not the sound I was hoping for...just didn't fill my small room with the quality of sound I expected, as this was really talked up by others! Still a good speaker, but I just need something a bit more for the price!

I own iPhones, iPods, Apple iPads, and Apple TV 4k units throughout our homes! They are all good quality and good functionality. However, I was very disappointed with the 2 of the Apple speakers I purchased for a very high cost compared to competitor similar products. They were difficult to connect. The volume/sound quality was mediocre at best. Apple had a great idea here but quality fell very short of the expense! Sad........ However, BestBuy refunded the product without question! A great electronic store!

While I’m hiding from my wife she uses the intercom function to get my attention. It’s like she doesn’t realize I’m trying to get away from her and the kid!

Only thing is videos are lagged from mobile device.

The Home pod has a great sound, but I couldn't find a real use for it in my home. Siri is on my phone, computer, and iPad. It only hooks up to one device. I'll wait till it's evolved a little. I returned it.

The HomePod is great. But you cannot voice command siri to play music from your itunes library that has been imported via a CD. If you're been in apple and iTunes for over ten years like I have this is a huge miss. I'm not sure but I think you can buy some apple music services or iTunes match to overcome this. The option i took was to airplay to the HomePod from my mac. Siri wills till respond to mute voice commands if you do it this way.

If you’re in the Apple echo system this is for you.

At the sales price, this speaker is well worth it.

Didn’t like it, it is not friendly, just work with one phone at the time and when the phone is not home it doesn’t work well. It doesn’t work well every time. It doesn’t work with other music than the apple music

I have mixed feelings with this homepod. I like that it works very well with Apple's ecosystem. However, it's very limited compared to Sonos speakers. I have the Sonos Playbar and One and this Homepod is nothing compared to them. The sound is okay, but not great.

Sound quality doesn’t meet my expectations and it does not get anywhere near loud enough for what it’s primary purpose is. Not as multi-functional as any Apple customer would expect of it either. I’m highly disappointed with this one, Apple. Do better!

I was aware of the limited Siri functionality prior to purchase however it’s even more limited than I expected. For example it responds to basic music request accurately about 60% of the time. Hoping future software updates bring the delight this speaker is missing
