I didn’t like this speaker as I had to have Wi-Fi to use it.

I was excited to purchase one of these. I did. As soon as I got it home I had problems with the set up. I'm familiar with Bluetooth and associated devices. The sound is really average for the size. I have another device sounds much better. The Bluetooth is more reliable too. Finally Siri is awful...way behind other devices of this type. I'm an Apple owner too. I own everything Apple. This is not their best effort

It was probably my lack of research but you need a “smart home” all things Apple and multiple pod units to get this to perform to its potential. It won’t sync to Spotify, etc. I’m an Apple fan but this was a zero for us. Took it back for a refund. Do your research!

This is the worst product setup ever released by Apple. Utterly bizarre and unhelpful error messages, like 301009 setup failure. Apple Support is clueless if something more than restart is involved. It took several days of messing around with network settings and having to use an unconventional work around. Based on my experience and high level of computer knowledge, Apple HomePod is NOT ready for prime time.

I had very high hopes for this, but had to return it. It wouldn’t pair and wouldn’t play music. When I reset it the + and - volume lights blinked and wouldn’t work. Apple support said this was a software issue and I would have to return it. I think it has the potential to be a great product like other Apple products, but it needs some work.

Great little for whole sound! Just put one in each environment to have low to moderate level music everywhere! Works as an intercom too. Better than hardwiring speakers all over the place. I’m using them to fill in the gap of my main entertainment system with wired speakers to the back yard. Plus the HomePods control all the lighting and sound from wherever they are. Good stuff!

I bought two on sale today and I was excited about it. Set up was annoying, did not connect correctly, it updated and after it said it can't be reached. The worst part was the base, it is super loud and deep. I was afraid I was gonna wake my neighbors. Unfortunately for me, I am returning them. It would make a great device for a house, bad for apartments.

Not to loud I was think very high acoustics and literally for a date or hear music in you room

It doesn’t have Spanish language It’s difficult for me to use it because I don’t speak Spanish

I have used/heard tons of different speakers and was reluctant when the HomePod came out. I was looking for a smart assistant speaker that also sounds great so naturally I was looking at the Sonos One (You can get TWO for what ONE HomePod costs). But I walked into Best Buy and saw the HomePod on display and after hearing it in person I knew its what I should buy. The sound quality is nothing short of AMAZING! It sounds great, especially for its size. NO you're not going to get the integration that comes with some of the other brands. NO you're not going to get to use it with Spotify or other streaming devices without using airplay. YES Siri is limited compared to her google/Amazon counterparts. But for me, a person completely immersed in the Apple ecosystem its perfect. I only use Apple Music for streaming and we only have Apple devices in our home (Macbook, iPad, iPhones, Apple TV and so on) so it makes since. If you are a heavy Apple user the HomePod is perfect for you. If not something like the Sonos One or Google Home may be better!

Worst product I would not recommend to anyone the unit would speak on its on and play music at random times

I had it for less than 2 minutes and out of the box it didn’t wanna work. I got it set up an hour later of this garbage not working and than it wouldn’t sync with the Apple Home app and constantly screwed up my requests. I tried it on 3 devices. All apple. Terrible. And the box is just stupid garbage. You can’t even put it back in the package. Just save yourself money and a return to Apple.

Doesn’t get that loud...over priced...only bought because it’s Apple doesn’t take commands well

$150 or below, might be worth it. useless as an assistant. worse off than siri on your iPhone.

I switch to bose so it could be mobile. Having to keep it plugged in wasnt worth the money.

Way over priced for the features, should be 119 and I would fill my house with them, touch surface is just ok

It was great for several months. But now that the warranty has expired, it continually pops, buzzes and shuts off on its own. I own so many apple products that have been excellent but the HomePod is a disappointment/waste of money and I recommend against anyone purchasing.

Great sound quality and ease of setup and use with Siri and the rest of my Apple devices. Negative is that you can’t play music remotely- so if you’re not home and want to play music for your animals, you have to ask Siri to play it through your camera’s speaker - if you even have a camera.

This newer homepod is a much better price value point versus the original, the original had great sound but was so expensive just to play Apple Music and take calls on and had limited features. It’s much more cost effective to buy 3 of these to place around your home versus 3 $250 speakers and now they finally added some useful features to the homepod OS that makes them much more useful. I would say that the base of these should be less slick because they slide around too easily which can affect audio quality at high volumes.

It is a little hard to figure out. I am working at it, I didn't" have any songs on my phone
