I recently bought the Homepod Mini and long story short I love it! However, I did have a better sound quality on my google home. I was able to control the bass and treble on my google home whereas on the homepod you are not allowed an EQ unless via apple music. Overall I love the features it has. Plus you get a free trial of apple music when purchasing a homepod or homepod mini!

I have a pair of these in one room and a pair of Home Pods in our family room. Very good sound for a small speaker. Nice that you can pair two of them for stereo. Also nice that you can use them as a sound source for Apple TV 4K, (not sure if it works the same way with a standard Apple TV). That said, if your looking for excellence with an Apple speaker pair, better to splurge for the Home Pod. The Home Pods are a big step up from the Home Pod mini. But you’ll pay for it. When looking for smart speakers and smart home devices, privacy should be a consideration. Compare Apple privacy with other companies smart device agreements.

If you have an Apple TV this is a must buy. I had bought 2 to make a stereo pair and connected it to my Apple TV. Then in the setting it showed I can use HomePod mini as a sound source for my tv. Not only did I get a smart speaker it also turned out to be a sound bar. I would have rated it 5 stars if it didn’t mess up my matter devices and recognize my nest thermostat as responsive.

This device is amazing for how small it is. Dont get me wrong 100 dollars is alot when it comes to speakers but when i pluged it up and went thrugh the set up process it worked amazing the sound quality is pretty good for a small speaker. Would definitely recommend if you are in the apple ecosystem

Quality sound in a small package. Get two and play in stereo. Siri still hasn't got the smarts of the competition, but she's getting better. Would buy again.

I love this little guy. It sounds great, fast, responsive. Looks good on a table or shelf. Comes attached to a nice braided cable and includes the 20w charger.

The HomePod by far is the best sounding smart speaker you can buy on the market. However, due to the fact many manufacturers don’t support Apple HomeKit, Siri falls behind in terms of overall functionality. But the main highlight of the HomePod is the sound. Though the sound is room filling, it is best when it is stereo paired, which dramatically changes the entire listening experience. Also, if you have 2 HomePods and an Apple TV 4K, you can use HomePods for Dolby Atmos sound which is amazing. Overall, it’s a really good sounding speaker and has tons of bass, yet somehow remains balanced, presumably due to the fact there is a dedicated sub component within the HomePod which is about 4”. The audio is very clear, and the HomePod gets very loud. In my experience, I would recommend putting the HomePod about 5-7 inches away from a wall, this will give the HomePod better functionality in terms of its sound beaming capabilities. it makes a huge difference, it’s just the basic physics of sound. One thing that is important to note is that this device is for people who are heavily invested into the Apple EcoSystem, and are subscribers of Apple Music, because yes they do have 3rd party music support from platforms such as Spotify and Pandora, however the functionality is not ideal due to it still being implemented and developed. Also this is not a Bluetooth speaker and is only AirPlay compatible, meaning you need an Apple device to stream to it, if you aren’t using Siri on the HomePod to ask it play music.

I already own a number of HomePods and HomePod Mini’s. This one is just as reliable as all of the others.

Wanted one because of the apple ecosystem but I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality for this size and this price. I'll be getting another one to pair.

Best sound out of this little speaker, easy to set up, and add to iPhone. Really need to get the pair for our living room, very sensitive to my voice .

The HomePod minis are excellent and if money was a factor I’d opt for several homepod minis over the HomePod. You can pair two of them for stereo sound and have them all playing simultaneously under the Home App. I’d still like the option to be able to pair it with a HomePod.

Honestly it’s a much better value than the HomePod. It doesn’t take up a ton of space and still have extremely good audio quality despite its fairly small size

Excellent sound quality for the price and size. I got this as a Christmas present for my roomate. He’s loved it so far and it’s so loud for the size, bass is somewhat lacking but that’s to be expected for something this size.

I have been something of an audiophile since college (50 years ago). I bought 2 of these as a quick and dirty extension to my Apple ecosystem. I absolutely had low expectations considering their size. When I set them up I was pleased with the typical convenience (if you have an iPhone) but when I started playing music I was amazed. The audio was clean with no distortion at all reasonable volumes. Frequency range is limited by size of the speaker but the sound benefited by the units not trying to play outside their range. I dropped a star off of them because they sound better filling up a room than as a nearby computer sound source.

Amazing Sound! Pair them for a great home surround sound experience. Take your music with you throughout your home. They are inexpensive but amazingly competent.

Best smart speaker in my opinion, especially if you own other Apple products. The sound quality is amazing for its size and the design goes well for any room decor.

Large sound in a little attractive ball.. The price is a little high but it’s apple so… I love it, this is my second one it’s so efficient..

Absolutely love the ease, functionality, and audio quality of these! The intercom feature is extra awesome as well, and ability to dictate notes comes in handy.

Sounds extraordinary and works just like it's older big brother. Perfect size for a bedroom or office. A must have if you're invested in the Apple/HomeKit ecosystem.
