Great sounds for music movies and tv. Works great with Apple tv

Has very good sound for such a small speaker but trying to work out how to set defaults and work in coordination with Apple TV, Apple Watch and iPhone. So many questions and things to try to figure out to make it work the way you would like.

Great for small room and for Apple ecosystem users. But one can get a better airplay speaker value from JBL Link among others for less money when on sale. I doubt the auto room calibration is going to make that much of an impact but still $99 isn’t bad for an Apple audio product

Nice sound but this is not a fully matured product. I have had to call AppleCare more than 6 times because of problems such as music playing on my iPhone AND HomePod mini at the same time, transferring from iPhone to HomePod mini intermittently working, HomePod mini just stops playing in the middle of a song. I made sure AppleCare was doing screen sharing and I had the camera open so they can visually witness problems and they admitted what I’m reporting are real problems. I also did screen recordings of other issues and at Applecare’s request, I sent it to them but before they can go to engineering, they require I add new profiles and keep exact logs (dates, times, issues) every time something happens because they said “there’s millions of lines of code so engineering cannot find their own problems with complete detailed information and profile added”. AppleCare offered to replace my NEW HomePod mini with what they call “replacement stock” and when I asked if I would get a new replacement, AppleCare said it would probably be a rebuilt one and not a new one. I paid 100.00 (plus 15.00 for AppleCare) for a NEW HomePod mini and I don’t want a rebuilt replacement. I will not buy other’s as I planned to until this product’s problems are resolved.

I purchase this for a co-worker as gift and they seem to love it. The sound is pretty good.

I’ve been waiting for the HomePod since it was announced. The sound is as good as everyone describes. While it doesn’t match a standalone quality amplifier with good speakers, it’s easily the best smart speaker. I have a Harmin/Karden Onyx and the HomePod sounds considerably better in both bass and high range. I’d say the mid range is about the same. Siri is pretty good as well. Right now it’s limited to a few things outside controlling the speaker. One small issue I had was it frequently played the live or the video version of the song.

This HomePod mini is great for asking Siri to add things to my shopping list or home automation tasks. The sound from this little speaker is way better than I expected. If you are in the Apple ecosystem and are looking for a HomeKit hub this speaker will fit the Bill!

Wasn't very impressed at all. It would have trouble connecting to my iPhone 12 Pro Max sometimes, was slow to respond to commands, and sound quality was good but not great. Without a touch screen or anything, I just don't see it being as useful as something like an Echo Show 5, which I also recently bought and use more.

I was not sure how Apple would make the HomePod better, and yet they made it better and smaller. This little speaker is an improvement on the industry leading smart speaker. You will never be disappointed with this speaker. The best part, is that audio processing is performed on the speaker and not shared with your neighbors.

Apples HomePod is really nice and has great sound, easy to use.

This little smart speaker is far better than I expected. It is worth noting that my entire family is immersed in the Apple eco-system. That only enhances the functionality. Sound quality is much better than other speakers in a similar price range. Highs can get a bit “hiss-y” on some music. The average music track is awesome with great, rich sound.

This is a cool speaker with great sound for its size. My only qualm is that you have to control it through the Home App on the iPhone. I did not know this at first, and it would randomly start playing music (that I did not choose) and I had a hard time getting it to stop without unplugging it-something to do with Siri. This speaker is not just a simple “connect to Bluetooth” and play. If it were a little easier to use with non-apple devices i would like it better.

A great compliment to my HomePod. I use this mini in the bedroom and I have all the features of Siri on a HomePod in a smaller package. The sound is good, although not as good the original Home Pod, but very acceptable. Also doesn’t take too much space up on the night stand. Now I just need about 3 or 4 more for the other rooms in the house.

Excellent sound and build quality. Siri can hear me over loud music and from other rooms in my home. Works very well with Apple Music. The unit itself feels heavy and very solid. Sleek design.

I love all apple products including home pod mini. I previously purchased two home pod minis one for my nieces graduation, and one for myself. I decided to get another mini to pair with my other mini plus my HomePod to get Surroundsound with my television sets. It became a game changer for me. Highly I highly recommend the HomePod mini.

Answer.....NO! I love the quality sound and the richness of the bass! It was so easy to set-up. Just plug it in and place your Apple device close to the HomePod an enjoy your favorite tunes! The only complaint I have, is that you cannot link SiriusXM. Overall I rate the system a 5 however, I am giving a 4 because of the SiriusXM.
