I have a few homepods and decided to buy a few minis to put in smaller rooms. Although it’s smaller don’t think the sound is like and echo or echo dot it’s still surpasses those. This coupled with the price finally put Apple in the smart speaker game. Apple homepods always had the sound but now with the smaller package and price but still with the best sound, they will dominate the competition. The Siri functions are great although not as powerful in the query department. But still an extension of the apple ecosystem

nice ascetic's to these…definitely a fan of the color, orange…small speakers with surprisingly great sound..using a pair to get a surround feel…placed them here, for now…still playing with replacement…

Loved it. Great mini, i bought a few of those to put in different positions of my home to pair up with full sized HomePods. I did return the white ones though, as when I bought them these were the only ones in stock. I just returned them for the black ones. Other than that, the sound quality was wonderfully surprising, the highs and lows were nice. Actually had nice thumping bass.. wastes any of its competitors in the price range and even double. This is a winner.

For such a small speaker, it has a lot of sound. Bought it more for experimenting purposes, wanted to see what the hype was about. Passed to my son after I bought the new HomePods. If you’re looking for a small speaker that sounds great, look no further. Easy to hide, place around your room. Comes in different colors. The sound though is the most impressive thing about them.

Love it great sound small package pair well with iOS home system

Sound quality is pretty good with impressive bass and clear sound. But the only issue is with connectivity while using with multiple devices. I used with Mac and iPhone but every time after playing from Mac it was unable to connect to iPhone so I had to reset the HomePod. Also, it only supports Apple Music.

I purchased this as a Bluetooth speaker for my kitchen because of it's compact size and was really surprised by how nice the sound from it is. The unit is about the size of a softball but sounds much bigger. The sound is just about as good as my Harmin Kardon speakers. I'm thinking of getting a pair for my living room to use with my sound bar for watching tv - since I believe they will work as stereo speakers when in the same area. I also use the Siri command capabilities to control my house lights.

Great sound and only takes up mininmal space. Easy to get setup and use.

Works very well, great sound for the size. Love the yellow color. Easy to plug in and set up. Wish I would have gotten one of these sooner.

Small but mighty. Excellent sound quality for its size! Rich full sound at highs, miss and lows. Does get very loud but perfect for a small room like a bed room. Perfect if you are deep in the apple ecosystem. For example subscribe to Apple Music. You care pair it with another mini and have full steel sound. I would highly recommend it to someone who was thinking of buying an apple smart speaker but didn’t want to spend the money on the regular home pod which has tremendous sound quality.

Small, mighty, and easy to use. Works right out of the box, pretty much no setup needed so long as you have an iPhone.

We purchased two, one for the kitchen and one for our bedroom. The sound quality is really good and the volume and fullness of sound is amazing for such small speakers. We are definitely glad we purchased them. We use them to listen to Apple Music, podcasts, and audio books. We are very pleased with them and recommend them for iPhone users.

The HomePod is a quality smart speaker as far as build quality and sound are concerned. It gets surprisingly loud for being a little bigger than a large apple. Additionally, it is very easy to pair with an iPhone because you have to unlock the phone and bring it close to the HomePod mini. One thing to mention is that this is clearly marketing towards those who use the Apple services. For me I use Apple Music and listen to podcasts while I do my work so it works really well.

Very responsive, shockingly good speaker, and surprisingly good microphone. Only downside of that is sometimes it takes over a query I ask my phone if it’s just barely able to hear me, and some questions can only be answered from iPhone, which I thought I was doing in the first place.

Bought this out of concerns with privacy issues with Amazon Alexa. Works extremely easy and better the more Apple products you have. Sound is great and setup is super, super easy. Only caveat is is that it runs on 802.11N not, AC or AX, but can still do 5ghz. Worth the price. I control all my Hue bulbs and other home devices and it works well. I love the fact that I can use it as a speakerphone for my iPhone and send messages, update my calendar, and more.

Like any other Apple product, the materials and the finish is high quality. I own the original Homepod and decided to try the mini. For the money, I would say it is worth it. You can get a decent sound quality considering its small size. Great mid-tones, and decent bass. Not the same as the bigger model in terms of quality, but you can expect that if you're looking for a compact product.
