Good hardware, lousy software.

The HomePod Siri software 5.2 is terrible and needs a lot of work. Too many times Siri tells me "I'm on it, still working, this is taking too long" and then does nothing. I have to reboot the HomePods nearly every day just to listen to some music, get a weather report or any other simple task from Siri.

Does not work with anything

Also it won't connect to bluetooth or show up in our home app. My wife and I both have apple products purchased within the past couple years so we assumed it would be easy to set up. I've reset it multiple times and nothing seems to work.

Subpar audio quality, limited audio sources

You couldn’t hear certain tones that would harmonize certain songs. The handoff is flawed. I can’t play audio from any streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. I love the idea of it- it needs serious updates which I’m sure Apple will progressively do with each release of the “newer versions.” Guess I’ll wait for the upgraded ones

The music is great, assistant stinks!

With iTunes as our music source we can enjoy any type of music all day long. We just wish apple would give Siri a better education so she could provide us with more answers to our questions.
