This homepod is fantastic to use as a hub for homekit, and having siri on a speaker works great. The sound quality is honestly really good for its size. The only downside is that the speaker shows up as an option for connecting a phone call when I want to use speaker-phone at home. This is a feature that CAN NOT be changed as of the time of this review. Maybe Apple will change this in the future, but for now it is a constant annoyance if you like to use speaker-phone often.

Good sound, good price, easy to set up. Replaces a defective HomePod that died 25 months after purchase, with a 2 year warranty. Hope I have better luck with this min!!

Love this mini, great sound. I keep it in the bedroom. Good for alarm clock. I have added songs to my alarms and enjoy everyday listening

They have great sound and were really easy to set up. I see them purely for speakers meaning I haven’t set up any of other features available such as home automation.

Really nice small speaker. Works great with Apple TV. Sound is great especially when streaming video and music. I will be buying more for my other Apple TV set up.

I am using it for HomeKit use. It sets up fairly well and if you only have 1 local network, you won't have any issues. I have multiple networks and the HomePod follows the network my phone is on. But if the devices were set up on a different net, they won't follow. And my phone switches networks a lot. I am setting this up with an old iPad and a new Apple Id that is attached to the network where the devices are. That should fix the issue and then I can invite myself to the Home to use my watch, Siri, phone, and computer to control devices.

Sounds great! Siri is still Siri but it's a well-manufactured device that feels great to the touch and sounds fantastic. I recommend the white for its lack of fingerprinting on the glossy touch surface.

Excellent speaker and looks clean. Fast setup with all apple devices.

Very nice product with surprisingly rich bass for its size. Have it paired with a 4K Apple TV and it performs flawlessly.

Volume: good enough for assistance on the kitchen or small home office Only support one language at the time (Alexa support two at the same time) No aux input No earphones input Basic is big Siri I was using on my home office but I decided to give to my wife(she was using Bluetooth recharge speaker) So now she love this Siri speak for asking some recipes and timer plus leasing her favorite show. If you have some podcast on you iPhone or some music just come close to and transfer to this Siri speaker easy easy, same for calls.

These work exactly as expected and are perfect for people in the Apple ecosystem. Would probably have purchased the black ones if they were available when I bought them.

For such a small speaker the sound quality is surprisingly good! Of course, it cannot match the full range of the original Homepods which paired have replaced my conventional stereo system. I use the Homepod mini placed near my chair in the den to augment the speakers of the Sony tv; I find that the Homepod mini makes dialog clearer and crisper. My only reservation (which explains the loss of a star) is that while the volume is easily adjustable by the remote or voice command the Homepod does not respond to the mute button on the Apple TV which has now replaced cable. I have tried numerous settings but to no avail. Otherwise, the Homepod mini functions flawlessly.

The quality of these speakers outshines most others. The home automation ecosystem has been lacking due to this being the only option up until late 2020. Siri, despite what haters may claim, works just as well as the multitude of Alexas we have around the house. The Homepods definitely take the cake on sound quality, even by comparison to Amazon’s highest end Echo Studio and Sub combo. It is on par with the more expensive Sonos units; but you can get HomePods for $199 if you catch them on sale and, thus, this makes them a better value than compatible Sonos. Sonos has the benefit of a large ecosystem full of a myriad of options. The call quality on these is superb, second to know, it may even be their best feature. People on the other end are completely unaware that I’m not talking on my phone. I’ve also been on the other end of these calls and can attest to this observation. It is simply astounding how well they isolate your voice. This definitely surpasses Alexa, Google, and even similarly priced Sonos units. It also integrates much better with our home automation on a grand scale than our Alexa units; working with more lights and smart home devices overall. We just simply have more Alexas due to cost. We use the pair of HomePods exclusively for music and phone calls due to this fact. However, I’m only rating this as 5 stars with the knowledge that the ecosystem is FINALLY expanding with the Mini; if not for that, this would probably get 4, maybe even 3, stars. Apple simply waited too long to break out of this single-unit shell.

I was very skeptical about these pods. I've never been a "Siri" or "Alexa" person. But since I recently moved into an apartment from a house and still have not had the time to set up my old-fashioned (but much loved!!) stereo system, I figured I'd try these pods (I bought two and paired them). I'm really happy with the sound. I find the "Siri" mechanism is annoying, but I'll live with that for now. Best to whisper around a Siri or else you never know what she'll do ... LOL.

My second speaker I bought and with two hundred dollars I have a great sound to enjoy my movies and music , I will recommend, it have a great price and great sound

Is this as good as the full size HomePod? Sound? No. Size? Yes. This is what HomePod should have been from the beginning. Small, cheap, and affordable. I miss the big sound but not too much if I’m being honest.

Very good item when you are a fan of ‘all things Apple’. Good sound for such a small item. Great space saver. Bought two so that I could use as stereo pair.
