Love this speaker! It’s so loud and the bass is amazing!

Being a subscriber to Apple Music, this unit is convenient to have in the home and ask Siri to play just about any song at any time. On the minus side, this unit by no means has the sound quality that the original larger HomePod has. We own one of those as well. The feature where you hold your iPhone to the HomePod, and the HomePod automatically links with the iPhone does not always work. For the money, this is a good value if you are an Apple Music subscriber. Although, I would gladly pay the extra money to be able to buy the original HomePod with its superior sound.

Great Speakers, good quality, big sound in a small package. Bought two but could not put into stereo mode for all instance, only works with certain apps in stereo, minus one star for that.

I don’t know why anyone gets anything else. In a fair review. Siri, isn’t very smart. I use this for my smart home too. I have, no joke.. 7 of these and two large HomePods. I have no control over my house anymore,., but what I can’t control makes up for it in sound. When it all connects for music, all day. Then I remember why I am Apple yes man. It’s sets itself up. Just have you phone look at it and it turns on

Bought this for someone as a Christmas gift. No issues after 3 months of use. Speaker can get nice and loud and Siri commands are nice

Apple’s HomePod is amazing in terms of sound and ease of use when connecting to the other members of the Apple ecosystem in your home. It sounds wonderful and takes little to no effort to set up. But it is PRICEY, at $299.99 brand new. Open Vox condition can offset the steel price tag, as can opting for the HomePod Mini. Quality wise, the HomePod wins the day.

Love how compact this speaker is! Sound quality is great as well. It was easy to pair with my phone and I haven’t had any issues with it.

Love my HomePod! Volume wise it’s quite potent considering it’s small size. Surprisingly heavy and sturdy, easy to connect to all my other Apple devices. Claims to have excellent “hey Siri” listening capabilities Including over loud sounds and it does that fairly well, I still wish it could hear a little better though but overall I am satisfied. Would absolutely recommend, wish I had gotten it much sooner! Must be plugged into an outlet to work does not operate on any sort of battery.

it is one of the best smart speakers that there is good sound, it does not take up much space it looks beautiful where you place it is great

We purchased a pair for each of our TVs connected with our Apple TV. Great sound, very easy setup. Perfect for a home using Apple.

This speaker amazed me with the level of sound and responsiveness to voice commands. I’ve had other mini Bluetooth speakers by Amazon and Google. After Apple introduced their mini speaker, I could not wait to get one because I am an Apple-lite (special name my boyfriend calls me...hahaha). That same night, the others were trashed because they are no match. This was especially great for me because the HomePod is not in my price range, but the mini is perfect for me. I’m definitely going to get others to have areoundbthe house.

The HomePod mini has a great little design, great sound for its size & a super mic to pick up Siri commands. I own 2 of these and plan to get a couple of more for other rooms in the house.

Sounds great not perfect, but it is enough to enjoy my music with. I really like how tiny this thing is and it can be placed basically anywhere in my room. I'm not trapped in the Apple Ecosystem so I can say its a decent product. I like that I don't need to have bluetooth to get it to work. I can use this to play sound from my pc using a piece of software. Good product if you have an Iphone. I give it 3 stars. I just wish it took less steps to get Spotify to play through it and I know it's up to Spotify, but I think Apple could have made it easier.

I'm listening to music from my HomePod as I write this. If you're a tech nerd like I am, you'll know what everyone else says: HomePod has terrific internals––you certainly won't be disappointed with its sound quality––but don't expect much from Siri being a "smart speaker." A recent survey stated that customers in the Apple ecosystem are more likely to pair their apple-product-oriented lifestyle with Alexa products than Google Home products, which is the same for me. I let the versatility of Alexa handle the truly smart, smart home functions (i.e. Hue bulbs, smart outlets––which are way way way cheaper and reliable than HomeKit outlets, among other smart accessories). Anyway, back to HomePod: crisp, clear highs, well-rounded bass, good midtones make for great 360˚ sound. The touch screen is limited to the same controls one would get from the included EarPods with any iPhone––they just look more aesthetic. Other details: it's heavy for its small size, you NEED an Apple Music subscription to take advantage of full Siri voice controls, other sounds (music, youtube, whatever) can still be streamed to HomePod via Airplay (and Airplay 2 when it comes out), it works ONLY with apple devices since there is no bluetooth (I know right).
