Decent sound coming from from this small speaker. Haven't compared it to other speakers it's size, but the bass is not all bad.

Great sound for its size. I have 4 of these at home. My only gripe is the interface’s response. When I try to reset or set it up, it usually takes several tries. My internet connection may certainly play into its responsiveness, so I don’t want to rate it low. But..I still think resetting it shouldn’t be as annoying as it is.

Wonderful sound quality, and ease of use. A stereo pair fills the room with better sound than any competitive smart speaker.

It's cute and compact and at a great price point, but the diminutive size doesn't affect how great the audio quality is

Little speaker packs a punch with clear smooth music with no annoying buzzing sounds. Works great with Apple Music.

Distinct sounding and almost similar to older Bose models. The tuning emphasizes the lower end, while giving plenty of space for for the higher frequencies to give way to excellent detail. The middle could be improved and hopefully apple will update the DSP to allow for this. I enjoy the sound, especially for movies and live music that captures the feel of a small venue. I’d love to hear 2 of these in stereo mode and I’ve read that this is when the HomePod really stands out. Connectivity is all taken care of by Apple and it integrates with more recent versions of specific apples iPads and Apple TV’s without effort or disruption. But, at last check, regular Bluetooth from non apple devices or non Apple sources wasn’t available. I heard this might be updated and definitely check out the latest official description before counting the HomePod out. I purchased it with same day delivery from bestbuy and was impressed with the service and the price, which was $100 less than the standard rate from Apple and elsewhere. I think it is a great speaker. But if you are picky about audio quality, you will want 2 and want to pair them for stereo sound. It is mono on its own, despite the array of tweeters, middles and single woofer. I’ve read reviews about the google speaker with the same functions but all googled out critics say that is the speaker to beat in this range. That surprises me, but makes me want to bend an ear to the google speaker because if it sounds better than the Apple, it might sound better than just about all options in the $200-$400 range and beyond.

The main reason i switched i got tired of always recieving additional recommendations from Alexa it was so annoying and frustrating. Siri just answers my questions and seamlessly transfers my content to the speaker when i tap my phone to it.

I like this speaker. The sound is very good and it is loud. I like the speaker in the black color. It was easy to hook up.

Of the Apple HomePod color, easy to connect and has great sound!

Sound quality is absolutely amazing! It’s about the size of your fist, but the base is amazing. Good purchase.

Replacing my Echo's with these. Sound quality is leaps and bounds better. A lot of its features rely on being in the Apple ecosystem though and it is a little pricey. Still, nice to not have to worry about privacy as much as you would with Amazon. Excellent product.

The speaker is amazing! I put in my kitchen so I can listen to my music while cooking. Looking to add a few more throughout the home.

This should not sound this good... but it does! Incredibly clear, deep, and filling sound. For a small apartment one is enough to fill the entire space without sounding distorted or far away. The siri functionality is nice to have but as a speaker alone its so worth it. It's also nice to open it to anyone who visits the house since anyone with an iPhone can connect to it and share the music. I'm definitely buying more in the future!

Amazing sound and price is acceptable……………………………..

I Bo it got one thst refused to set up. The first ok utcof box failure of an Apple product for me ever. I took it back and got another one. This one shipped right up, and it’s working fine. Are used primarily for commands for my smart lighting and other things in the house. The song quality is good the construction quality appears to be a first class. If you were in the Apple ecosystem, I recommend this device highly.

Works exactly as expected. My daughter bought this to use at college. It is small and easy to set up and works great.

I have a house full of Echo devices, and I'm beginning to replace them with these Apple HomePods. Since we have many iPhone, iPads, and Apple TVs in the house, it just makes it easier and better to have a HomePod system which easily works with everything else. The sound on these is great, and I really do like the minimal style of them. Definitely going to being picking up more of these.
