I have the original HomePod, so I'm very familiar with how these work. I ordered two of these to use as a stereo pair with an Apple TV in a guest room, and I was surprised by the clarity of music and dialogue. They are much better sounding than any other similarly sized speaker I've owned. They lack a bit of the bass punch of the larger HomePod, but sound fuller than you might expect from a speaker this size.

The ability to control multiple functions (lights, thermostats, wifi plugs, etc.) in my house through one device excites me very much. The savings on my electric bill from being able to manage my electric heat while I’m away from home has almost paid for my Home pod in the first month. Siri is a bit rigid when you’re giving it directions, meaning you must speak very clear and use the exact title for the device you want it to control, but all things considered it’s a great product.

Im disappointed in this product solely due to to Siri being trash and almost every request you ask it tells you to ask from your phone. Google nest and Alexa are way ahead in this sector. I has Google ecosystem for awhile and while it had its times where the Google nest bugs out overall it was and still is more reliable for asking things on the fly. Any thing that is available as Google search I can get answers to. Homepod on on the other hand can’t respond with results from web. It will just tell you it found web results and to ask again from my iPhone. So outside of listening to music and interacting with smart home accessories its not worth it. Maybe in the future if they add Apple intelligence aka ChatGPT lol. Oh yeah, also I don’t like the fact that you have to have your phone connected to WiFi at all times got homepod mini to work. I have a mac and iPad Pro with home app. Not sure why my phone has to be the default device.

Amazing sound from such a small package, easy to sync with other HomePods in home!

I always wanted the larger HomePods but could never justify the price when compared to the competition. However, this price point made it a no-brainer for me. It is loud, music and podcasts sound great, Siri could be better, and I like that you can pair it with another mini. This also helped me get into the HomeKit with the Thread support. I've had some trouble with U1 and Handoff but nothing troubling.

Sounds great for the size and the voice recognition is great

Love it. These things look great in just about any setting/room. The sound quality is top notch, especially if you pair with a second unit. Ease of setting these up is amazing and if you use Apple Home to control smart devices in your home the HomePod is definitely the way to go! Compared to Google Assistant and Alexa it is limited when it comes to the breadth of available knowledge/answers you can get from it from a smart assistant perspective, and as always with Apple products the price is...steep. If you can catch them on sale at Best Buy I highly recommend.

A much needed addition to the Apple line up. I have wanted to ditch the echo dot for quite some time now but refused to pay the price for a full sized HomePod. I just don’t have a use for anymore speakers and the HomePod mini fits the bill. Sounds better to me than anything else it’s size which is a plus but I don’t use it for music but still worth a mention. It performs all functions as well as any other Apple product.

For the size of it, it sounds clear & has a decent amount of bass. Perfect size for anywhere!

If you have ever had tweeters in your vehicle to enhance its overall sound than I would say this is that for the original Homepod. I have two regular Homepods and two minis. I use em primarily for music and these add extra sound throughout my house and keep the moments going as I move about. They sound great, but if too loud it will let you know. Great for anyone who doesnt want to spend the full price on the larger ones.

Despite its size; it delivers on amazing audio. While the internals have been scaled back from the original HomePod (*likely to keep cost down) it doesn’t compromise what it intends to do and that’s to deliver sound. Voice command is attentive no matter what volume it’s set at. While I’m not a heavy user on “smart” features, I mainly uses this as a music player. It has a 20w adapter to power the unit. Worth the purchase.

May not have the punch of its larger brother but it sounds great and a lot more affordable.

while siri isn’t able to do as much as google home, or amazon alexa, it does what i want it to. i am a constant music listener and this speaker is able to seamlessly play music from my apple music library which is super lovely. the bass is exceptional and the quality is crisp. extremely easy to set up, just brought my phone close.

Previously loved the original full-size HomePod, but had one die out of warranty and couldn't justify Apple's repair costs to fix it. Rolled the dice and bought two HomePod minis and have been impressed with the sound. It's obviously not as great sounding as the original full-size HomePod, but the mini packs a surprising punch. They works even better in stereo pair if you purchase two of them. A bit overpriced at $100, but if you can nab for $80, it's well worth it.

Got the Apple- Homepod mini just to try it out and compare it to Alexa. It does have very nice sound but doesn't seem to have all the options I get with Amazon's Alexa. Still exploring the options but so far Alexa is better by a lot
