What team at Apple designed this?

But I don't know whose idea it was to make it a plugin and connect to your network instead of a wireless bluetooth.

Hard time connecting to several iPhones at once

However, my son and I were having a hard time connecting at first. Then when we finally connected my iPhone to it, my son started having trouble connecting his, so I had to disconnect and delete the Home App so my son could connect. Since the HomePod was going to be in his bedroom, I didn't bother to connect my phone to it anymore. Overall it does have a good sound, but the connection to devices it's hard (for us).

Tiny speaker with medium speaker sound quality

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is speaker has the clarity that you would expect anything with the HomePod name to have but the bass is lacking (due to size of driver), It won't distort at full volume like the Echo Dot and Nest Mini and it looks more elegant. This is perfect for podcasts, light music, and dialogue such as calls on speaker. It is also the perfect accent speaker to add to your homepod for instance we have two minis (one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom) while having a full size HomePod in the living room.
