Lots of uses and great for a quick hands free intercom to the family. My only wish was that the + - on the face was more pronounced... you really have to look if you're adjusting volume manually.

I paired the two HomePods in my living room and the sound fills the entire main floor of our home. I’ve also used them as supplemental speakers for our home theater space in the basement. They make movies sound close to theater quality. I’ll be buying two more so that I don’t have to move them around.

Doesn’t do what I expected.

But it won’t control my mix of smart products including multiple outlets and lights with Smartthings as prime integrator, LG tv, or Arlo cameras (that it is advertised to control), or Yale smart lock (blue tooth with apple compatibility.) My iPhone does control the Yale lock. It just won’t find the devices. Homekit even shows ecobee with ‘controls not available.’ It does find latest Matter enabled devices.

Mom loves it

This completes her set up not to mention it's simple and easy to use. Basically an apple version of Alexa or Google Home.

Hosted a few small gatherings and movie nights at home the the speakers projected the sound incredibly. Very satisfied with my purchase and totally recommend.

The Sound quality is much better with the HomePod. Plus we use the HomePod to control the door locks, lighting, and HVAC. Having voice control over the songs, volume, etc is also really handy when we are trying to talk to a customer and a song has gotten too loud.
