For the size of this speaker, it packs a punch! We have a bunch of these in various rooms and rely on them as speakers, whether we want to play some music or stream something from iOS and macOS machines, or whether you use them to control your smart home. There is a bit of a learning curve to setting these up, however, especially if you are a luddite.

These do everything the original HomePods can do just a good bit quieter and for a much cheaper price. Overall, I'd say for most people, these are great. While they might not be as feature rich as the competition, They sound better, nail all the basics and most used voice commands, and are more secure and privacy focused, which for an always on microphone all around your house that's connected to the internet 24/7, is probably a good thing.

Exchanged this for the blue one. Still a great speaker easy to set up.

Bought this as a gift for my wife and as it turns out, we both love it. It’s a little different in terms of set up, the process was more involved than originally planned, but overall I would recommend this speaker. The sound is awesome! The only downside is, the chord Wish it was more portable

Sounds good for the small size. I like being able to group speakers and have sound throughout the house. Great addition for a smart home to control devices.

Great sound! Simple to use and pair with Apple TV and iPhone! Love being able to tell Siri to perform tasks or reminders from any room in my home!! Highly recommend!

Quality is good. Did take a few attempts to get it setup but in the end wasn't too bad. Sound is good for its size but I use it mostly for asking about the weather and settings timers. Gave it 4 stars because Siri is just not in the same league as Google. Also of things you might ask it just says "here is more info on your phone" where my Google Nest will give a verbal answer. However if your an Apple user I guess you get what you get.

The Apple HomePod not only works flawlessly it seamlessly connects with the other apple devices in my household. Also seems to respond better than any model of the Amazon Alexa that I've had.

This is a great product much better than the original HomePod as far as price and it sounds fantastic for something so small I had to give it one less star because you gotta air play anything other than Apple Music or Pandora so you don’t get the full voice capability but it even helps you find your phone if you lose it on the house as I do a lot all in all great product tho and cheapest entry into a smart home if your interested in that too and phone calls sound clear on this too

Works great! Perfect for smaller spaces like your bathroom or bedroom, great sound quality. Doesn’t take up too much space.

I went to Best Buy to purchase the larger Apple speaker which I didn’t know was discontinued. I bought the smaller one and it’s the best 100 that I’ve ever spent. I listen to it everyday at work and it has great sound and you can play so many different varieties of music!. All you have to do is say hey siri! And then say play_______how simple is that!

Great for small room and for Apple ecosystem users. But one can get a better airplay speaker value from JBL Link among others for less money when on sale. I doubt the auto room calibration is going to make that much of an impact but still $99 isn’t bad for an Apple audio product

Purchaed first HomePod mini and found it to be a great asset. Allows a short message to be sent to the person in home, controls smart home fixtures with voice commands. Sound quality is excellent with no noticible delay from TV. Planning more purchases in the future

First time having a homepod, good sound for the price, simple to use.

Good little speaker, sound is nice but only heard it during setup. bought as a gift. Recipient likes that you can ask questions and it's interactive like an Alexa. But, note that this only supports Apple music, so you need a subscription. Or you must use Airplay to play Spotify or other apps to link to the speaker. Speaker must be plugged in to work. We gifted this to a grandmother for the interactive function, but a portable mini Bluetooth speaker probably would have done the job.

Original Homepods are a hot commodity on ebay. Mine sold for over $400. Decided to sell mine for 2 Homepod minis. Sound is remarkable for the size but not quite as good as the original but what does one expect for $99. Great job by Apple on this little wonder. Siri still not as good as Alexa, Nice to be able to play my iTunes music library.

Like using this for alarms and music when I’m doing homework, it’s nice and loud and easy to use!
