For the size of this speaker, it packs a punch! We have a bunch of these in various rooms and rely on them as speakers, whether we want to play some music or stream something from iOS and macOS machines, or whether you use them to control your smart home. There is a bit of a learning curve to setting these up, however, especially if you are a luddite.

I already have five minis and one regular. They sound great and the automation features work flawlessly. If you want to add music and smart features to every room you won’t be disappointed.

Very nice "little" smart speaker. I don't really use the Siri features other than weather, time, etc. And, I don't really need/want that. The speaker, primarily, is a speaker that can be voice activated using Apple Music subscription to play music throughout my home. I also have 4 of the large HomePods (which are much better than this one) and a second mini. The minis are used in my powder room and master bathroom - the larger units are used in primary rooms throughout home.

I was surprised by the size of this HomePod, I didn't think it was so small. But that doesn't prevent him from having a quality sound Just like his big brother, he has a beautiful external mesh construction, his microphones manage to capture even a whisper or talk down from another room The product is so cool and good that I'm already buying more to spread around the house

Quality is good. Did take a few attempts to get it setup but in the end wasn't too bad. Sound is good for its size but I use it mostly for asking about the weather and settings timers. Gave it 4 stars because Siri is just not in the same league as Google. Also of things you might ask it just says "here is more info on your phone" where my Google Nest will give a verbal answer. However if your an Apple user I guess you get what you get.

Love this speaker. Works as gud as the original Homepod. Compact n quality sound. BB had the stock. Enjoy Apple products.

Like using this for alarms and music when I’m doing homework, it’s nice and loud and easy to use!

Love these little pods. Get multiple and it sets up a nice music sound in your house. We also take it outside and use it by the pool. Connects easily with Apple devices to play music. This is our 3rd one. Definitely recommend.

This is a great speaker, and works very well with Siri

For the size it has great sound. Price is also a great value, but kind of buggy at times.

I went to Best Buy to purchase the larger Apple speaker which I didn’t know was discontinued. I bought the smaller one and it’s the best 100 that I’ve ever spent. I listen to it everyday at work and it has great sound and you can play so many different varieties of music!. All you have to do is say hey siri! And then say play_______how simple is that!

Original Homepods are a hot commodity on ebay. Mine sold for over $400. Decided to sell mine for 2 Homepod minis. Sound is remarkable for the size but not quite as good as the original but what does one expect for $99. Great job by Apple on this little wonder. Siri still not as good as Alexa, Nice to be able to play my iTunes music library.

Gave this to my parents who are in their early 90s. They used to love music but don't have anything in their apartment. This was perfect. They were intimidated at first but once they had tried a few times they got very comfortable and were soon saying "Hey Siri, play some Johnny Cash". I have four throughout my own home.

bought these as a gift for our nieces and nephews for Christmas. man, oh man the sound that comes out of these is incredible. hard to believe so much comes out of something so small.

First time having a homepod, good sound for the price, simple to use.

As soon as i bought a second homepod mini is when these speakers really come alive. They work great as a stereo pair or you can spread them all over the house. Likely to buy one more to have 8 now. Its an addiction.

This is a great product much better than the original HomePod as far as price and it sounds fantastic for something so small I had to give it one less star because you gotta air play anything other than Apple Music or Pandora so you don’t get the full voice capability but it even helps you find your phone if you lose it on the house as I do a lot all in all great product tho and cheapest entry into a smart home if your interested in that too and phone calls sound clear on this too
