This is an excellent addition to the Apple eco system IFF you've gone all in on the smart home. As an addition to your listening experience this is a moderate addition; the speak provides a decent sound that will fill a small room and will compliment a wide variety of music tastes. at the open box price this is a strong recommendation.

This was a perfect addition to the Apple TV 4K. Ended up purchasing a pair and set them up as a stereo pair for the Apple TV. Seamless integration with all Apple products, plus the sound quality rivals that of sound bar setups 4 times the price. Looking to pick up a few more for around the house. Price point is fantastic.

It does what it’s supposed to, no complaints. If you have other Apple devices this integrates very well. As a stand-alone product it’s fine but overpriced for what it is. Sound is good but I wish volume level had more range. Bottom line if you are integrating this into the Apple ecosystem it’s very good, if not there are better choices for less cost in my opinion.

Amazing, the sound it is simply amazing for the size. The only drawback it is that Apple did not make this speaker compatible with Windows PCs, making it not a viable option for desk setups (PC). Otherwise, it is good and responsive as long as you have good connection. It looks great and it is a little too expensive

Worked great for a living room TV set up. Decided to get another one for the bedroom. Great sound and reliable.

Answer.....NO! I love the quality sound and the richness of the bass! It was so easy to set-up. Just plug it in and place your Apple device close to the HomePod an enjoy your favorite tunes! The only complaint I have, is that you cannot link SiriusXM. Overall I rate the system a 5 however, I am giving a 4 because of the SiriusXM.

I'm a big fan of the HomePod mini for small spaces and desk tops. While it doesn't quite compare to the sound quality of the original HomePod, it comes in at a decent price and easily brings Siri into your home or office. I have a stereo pair on my nightstands at home and a single Mini on my office desk at work. They're great for listening to podcasts, interacting with Siri, and working as a HomeKit Hub (Thread support included)

After a few days research for a smart assistant I settled on a HomePod/Siri and after a months use I must say I’m happy with my decision. Sound quality is good for a speaker this size and the security advantages of HomeKit to centralize your smart accessories make it worth the added expense vs the cheaper smart assistants.

Bought this speaker for my wife as a gift. Sounds great and works perfectly with my other apple products. Hint: if the speaker takes a while to complete the setup try resetting the speaker by unplugging it for a few seconds and plug it in. Hold two fingers on the top of speaker to reset. I had to do this a few times to initiate the update.

Sound is awesome! Easy to set up and start using right away!

We have this setup in our toddlers room. Its loud for a 12x15 bedroom. Its convient to use siri to play music or use as a white noise machine for when our toddler is sleeping.

I’ve been waiting for the HomePod since it was announced. The sound is as good as everyone describes. While it doesn’t match a standalone quality amplifier with good speakers, it’s easily the best smart speaker. I have a Harmin/Karden Onyx and the HomePod sounds considerably better in both bass and high range. I’d say the mid range is about the same. Siri is pretty good as well. Right now it’s limited to a few things outside controlling the speaker. One small issue I had was it frequently played the live or the video version of the song.

I have Sonos speakers which I really like but decided to try the Apple HomePod mini. I am using it as a remote speaker in our master bathroom and it works great. It was easy to set up and the sound is great for a single speaker. It does what I wanted it for.
