The sound on these speakers is objectively great. It has a very low bass levels and very notable treble. Great for anyone who listens to hip-hop/pop/edm. They don't however sound that great in the mids (voices). I will say the speakers used here are far greater than those found in any other voice assistant speakers.

Sigh. My spouse and I are still mourning the discontinuation of the larger HomePod. We've snagged as many as we need, since I suspect we won't see its like again. Right away, I want to say something to the HomePod detractors out there: Try living with a few for a while. The sound quality is amazing. Which is why we buy the,. Is Siri a great assistant? No. But, I'll settle for its greater level of privacy over the alternatives. Not to mention we bought them for the sound. My one issue is that there's no way to throttle back the bass. We have two acting as the speakers for our TV, and while the sound is stellar, it's also really bassy, especially at night. Still, they are good for what we wanted them for: whole-house audio with a reasonable ability to run out HomeKit-enabled lights and such. I just wish Apple hadn't gone to just the HomePod Mini, because unlike the Mac mini (which punches way above its weight class), the HomePod Mini doesn't. If you can find one, and you're hooked into Apple's ecosystem, then go for it.

The sound on this little speaker is absolutely amazing. It is quite immersive! Siri is great, too, and can hear my commands even when I'm talking in a normal voice down the hall when the music is blasting! It's a great addition to my home entertainments system, which includes an Apple TV.

Average smart system but fundamentally sound so good for my purposes

I have these in each room of my house. I love the HomePod Mini, and always buy my Apple products from Best Buy

I am so neck deep into the Apple ecosystem. I already have two of these as a stereo pair in my master bedroom. I was getting tired of having to connect my phone to the Jeff Bezos, smart speaker in the dining room and decided I wanted my own unique experience in the kitchen. Bought the last one the Best Buy had in stock in yellow. Experiences lackluster.

Sound is awesome, like all apple products. I have multiple alexa devices but this sounds soo much better. My only real complaint is lack of options in the interface vi iphone.
