Great sound for such a small speaker. Got this as a birthday gift.

Works great and the sound is much better than I thought it would be.

I love the ease of the HomePods. I own three and they all connect together and to my phone instantly.

Love the mini! We have the big one also but you cannot sync the mini to the large. Wish i had gotten 2

Awesome sounding speaker. Apple put awesome technology into developing thhis speaker. It may not be the smartest speaker on the market, but is the best sounding smart speaker on the market, hands down. One caveat, it’s Apple, so it’s regular price is pricey. But audiophiles looking for great sounding smart speaker, your search will end here

Worked right out of the box, and synced up without any difficulties. Sounds great!

Apple has a serious software problem with this device - when I have to restart and reset the device multiple times to get it working out of the box (outside of the software upgrade), there is clearly an issue. Setup shouldn't take more than 30 seconds - transfer the iCloud account info and wifi info from my iPhone and the HomePod should be able to take it from there - that is not the case. Instead it takes several minutes to communicate with your phone. And then for me, it couldn't do anything because of network issues (even though it is 20 feet from a gaming router with no obstructions), so I had to keep resetting it and going through the initial setup process until it now finally seems to be working. Sound quality is good out of the little device, but I think a lot of people would have returned it by now. The Home app from Apple has much more limited smart devices that are compatible with it and even the HomePod doesn't have dedicated settings in it. The other annoying thing is that the cable is hard wired into the device, so every time I had to reset it, I had to dig around the back of the cabinet to unplug it. Comparing to other smart devices, I like the Amazon Echo because setup is easier, it is compatible with significantly more smart devices, it works with a lot of music services (including Apple Music), and you can likely find one with the sound quality that meets your needs.

Set up is easy, but sometimes using it is confusing. Sounds great. Actually a great buy for only $100

Siri's voice is crisp and clear, the sound quality is amazing especially if paired with another one.

This is a great mini version of the Apple home Pod but with a splash of color.

Good sound, easy to use. Only doesn’t wotk without ac (not portable). Apple quality “best”

I purchased two in order to link them for stereo setup. Saved $200 on the pair. Setup took 2 minutes. Takes you through a few steps to get your voice pattern down. Then it updated the os to the latest version. All in all about 20 minutes time. The sound on loud is great and party worthy. But it shines on low volume listening to some chill, meditation or new age. This also works with smart lights and switches from Philip Hue. It’s a nice setup I was willing to pay $200 but $300 was too much. They should sell them at $169 and would likely sell a bunch of them. I did also try Amazon Echo Studio. It connects to more stuff, but how well,it works is hit and miss. Music from other service often quit playing. It sometimes locks up.. never had these issue with HomePod. It’s not perfect but we like them. Anyone want to buy two used echo studios. LOL
