I have two of these in the bedrooms and combined to the sound bar connected to Apple TV in the living rooms, it’s a great setup. The minis are surprisingly good for the price and pair super easily to my phone and other devices. Siri works great as well. Recommended.

I have used all the major home assistant for music and home automation and have to say so far the HomePod so far is the best. Alexa, Google home, and home assistant with local AI all have there strengthens and weaknesses, but ultimately HomePod is better at understanding my commands. I will say I am using Home Assistant as the back end for this, and the integration of home automation functions is a little wonky, but easy enough to setup and get working. What i don't love? Spotify is not supported and HomePod literally can't integrate properly, so if you use apple music, you're good to go, if you don't you're likely out of luck. I have been forced to use an iPad to cast Spotify to the speaker of my choice. In my house I'm using two minis and the big HomePod. The big HomePod could be better from a music quality standpoint, the minis are pretty decent given the size, but I wouldn't use them for listening to music. Despite the music issues, I still give it give stars because I was expecting the apple ecosystem is exclusive and doesn't integrate well, and I am reviewing the mini, not the Apple ecosystem.

I found the HomePod Mini to be pretty much as described by Apple and BestBuy. It is easy to set up and use and the sound is very good considering the size of the product. I bought the HomePod mini primarily as a speaker to play music in my home office and it serves that purpose very well. I generally do no use the smart features but it is nice to have them if needed.

I’m already in the Apple Eco System, so I thought I’d give this a try. Love: Sound! Great highs and lows plus fills my office. Linkable, haven’t tried yet, but plan to at my house. Compact. Perfectly fits on a shelf in the corner. Connectivity. Touch my phone to the Pod and walla! Music comes through! Downsides: NOT Bluetooth! Therefore, when WiFi is down, no music, no connectivity. If there is a work around, I haven’t discovered it yet. Cable. The cable is color coordinated and braided, but there is no battery option. To move to another room, you are stuck with unplugging. All in all, a good speaker for the price if you are already committed to the Applesphere.

The Apple HomePods are a great addition to any home. Especially if you run HomeKit. This is my 9th one, lol. I have them everywhere. I play music on them daily. Even when I am not home, music plays for my fur babies. The sound and volume levels are comparable for this size device and quite a nice decor piece in many colors. They are a fun little speaker and home hub.

Sooo glad I bought one for both my kids. Now I want one! Great sound from such a small device. The intercom is also a cool feature. Better than Alexa.

It arrived on time and I have loved it ever since. I have an iPhone and use Apple Music and this fits right in. I have not had any problem with it. I was also happy to see that it came with a power brick in the box. The quality of sound is very good at all volumes. Before this I had the echo dot and this has much much better sound quality and it also goes much louder if you need it to. While I was disappointed that this would not work with my other smart home accessories this becomes more and more worth it with every other apple device or product that you add to this

For Product: I’m happy with the HomePod mini and it works ax expected. Purchase Experience: before heading to the store I checked to make sure the store I wanna price match with is in the approved list and once at the register, the cashier asked the manager if they can match the price and the manager said “ no, because the offer is online only.” I had to step aside and go through the policy again and found out that as long as the product is ready to ship, and the store is in the list of approved competitors, they should honor the price match. I had to go to the cashier and show them the policy and the cashier had to “convince” the manager to follow Best Buy policy. The price from the competitor was below the minimum allowed price, which I was ok with whatever the minimum allowed price is. (Needed to have it on the same day). The other thing is that the website shows that the product comes with 4 offers, and cashier told me that the customer cannot choose which one to receive. (He tried to see if he can choose, but he couldn’t. It’s the system’s limitation)

Sound quality and ease of use is in matched apple makes the home kit very easy to us and understand I just wish more products where compatible The sound of these little speakers is immersive and sounds great doesn't sound like a cheap junky speaker it has deep bass and great clarity

The sound quality on these are decent, but if you are able to pair 2 to create a stereo sound, that would be the best scenario. Since I am in the Apple ecosystem, these are a no brainer and I like to listen to music throughout the day. They do not get very loud, but when you have multiple ones around the house, they are adequate.

So much better then the Alexa. I am an Apple person and I love how easy I can link it with my phone. I use one in my living room for music ( it’s small but has pretty good sound) and loved it so much I got one for my nursery. With a new born my hands are always full, the Apple home pod mini is perfect for assisting me to turn on the night light and singing lullabies or setting timers while I nurture my little one. Also, I love the fact that I can sync them and send voice memos to husband in the other room if I need another set of hands.

The sound quality is great and and super easy to use and very convenient it you play music through speakers since it transitions over smoothly

Amazing balanced sound from a small speaker. Sounds great in a bedroom and is easy to connect to other apple products.

So we have a second tv on loft which is old Samsung. Typically TVs have very bad speakers and I wanted to something punchier but not invest in soundbar as it will be bulky. This works best for me. Its small enough to be unnoticed and being apple product, asthetically it looks brilliant. And it sounds amazing when paired with Apple TV 4k.

Easy set up and flawless everyway use. Good size to stow away from view if desired.

Very versatile, I bought multiple HomePod minis, I agree with all those who say you have to be invested in the Apple ecosystem to get the most benefits. My primary goal was to have whole house audio without installing speakers and running cables to every room. It works flawlessly! Sound quality is amazing for its size. I can stream audio from pretty much every app on my phone or from my appletv 4k. Best feature has the be the intercom. I can send messages from anywhere to any of the HomePods. For me, best investment I could’ve made
