What a great product! I've already bought 2, and want to get 2 more eventually. Great sound, decent price, easy setup!

I purchased this to add to my Apple TV and I love how it sounds. It sits on the side table next to my recliner and makes it nice when watching TV as the speaker is much closer than my TV speakers so I don't have to crank the volume up as much. In addition to the speaker functionality I like that I can use Siri with it and use this for things like setting alarms, timers, playing Apple Music etc. Overall, it's been a worthwhile investment for me.

The HomePod mini has great sound for its size. Even more so when stereo paired. Setup was simple, by just plugging it in while holding an iPhone next to it. I was easily able to add a room in the Home app since it was the first HomeKit-compatible device in the room. My only complaint is that you have to use the provided 20W adapter Apple supplies which sticks out from the wall enough to where it wouldn’t fit behind most furniture without pulling it several inches off the wall.

I recently purchased the Apple HomePod mini in blue but ended up returning it. On the positive side, the HomePod mini offers excellent sound performance. The audio quality is impressive for its size, and the device responds swiftly to commands, which I appreciated. However, the primary issue I encountered was with Apple's HomeKit ecosystem. Despite the HomePod mini's capabilities, I found that HomeKit compatibility is quite limited when it comes to integrating with a variety of wireless devices that I already own. This limitation significantly affected my experience, as I couldn't connect the HomePod mini to several of my smart home devices. For those deeply invested in Apple's ecosystem and looking for a speaker that integrates seamlessly with other Apple devices, the HomePod mini is a great choice. The sound quality and responsiveness alone make it a worthy consideration. Yet, it's important to be aware of the limitations regarding smart home integration. Apple has room for improvement in expanding the compatibility and functionality of their HomeKit ecosystem. Until then, the HomePod mini's utility as a smart home device might be limited for users with diverse smart home products.

I use this in the kitchen to listen to music while we entertain friends and family. This has excellent sound quality and I love how easy it is to use with my iPhone and apple play. You can set up several of these around the house and play the same music through all of them. You can also use them as intercoms. It's a perfect solution for people looking to add music and functionality without having to run cables through your house.

Sounds great for the size and price. Works seamlessly with the apple ecosystem. I use them to listen to music and for tv speakers. If you’re a fan of apple products and want a smart speaker then why haven’t you bought this product?

Solid sounding speaker. Siri is still pretty immature compared to the rest of the field even though she was out first and put smart assistance into mainstream, but she has enough to get what you want done. If you’re the type to ask a lot of questions, this isn’t the smart speaker for you. If you’re the one in Apple’s ecosystem and is looking to extend the reach with a smart speaker, this is the best bang for buck to get. It sounds great and takes up little space.

This Mini HomePod is awesome. Sounds great and very easy to setup and use, small enough to fit on a desk.

The Apple HomePod mini is a great choice for Apple users looking for a compact and high-quality smart speaker. While it doesn't directly support Youtube Music, it integrates seamlessly with Apple's ecosystem, including youtube Music.

Significant improvement in Siri! Love the intercom feature and HomeKit integration. Also wonderful sound quality.

I was a bit skeptical about the sound and functionality with this since we have to regular homepods and knew the sound wouldn’t be the same. While the regular homepods have much better sound, the HomePod mini has an incredibly loud and high fidelity experience. I was so surprised at how awesome this sounded and how much bass it has for a speaker less than 4 inches high. I would continue to buy these fir every room in my house just by the sound quality alone

Used primarily as a HomeKit hub. I was skeptical at first if I’d use any other features but it’s turned into a daily driver (music streaming, etc). I’m planning on getting more for the house.

The HomePod emphasizes sound quality more than smarts. It’s most useful to think of the HomePod primarily as a high-performance wireless speaker that is voice-controlled and to consider its “smart” features as secondary. Audio: Apple stuffed this device with loads of sophisticated audio components—seven tweeters, a high-excursion subwoofer, and six microphones—as well as, to make it all work, one of Apple’s own A8 chips, like those used in iPhones. The result is an excellent deep, rich audio that sounds fantastic. The speaker is easy to set up and effortless to use, as long as you're playing Apple Music. Smart features: You can’t make calls to phones or other HomePods or create calendar appointments, or make use of any of the 15,000-plus smart skills (like games, Uber or Lyft requests, pizza delivery, and more) that have powered the popularity of Alexa or Google Home platform.

Very easy to get up and running. Integrates perfectly with Apple's Home app. I've had no issues airplaying to this device and others at the same time. I really like the feature where you can send/receive audio from your phone by simply placing your phone on the homepod. Sound quality is excellent. Will probably buy a second one for the bedroom. One issue I've noticed so far is that a few times, the homepod will just start playing music.

Great sound out of a little speaker. Set up was effortless. With Apple Music, I can just tell Siri to play a genre, like piano jazz or bossa nova and the room is filled with music. I also use it with Apple Home app to operate lights and thermostat just with my voice command. It is great.

I really like my HomePod mini for its size it will easily fill an average sized bedroom loudly. Also, it responds fast and hears me very easily. Plus the blue color looks amazing and the white top doesn’t attract finger prints which keeps it looking nice. Siri does need improvement but for average requests it does great it’s only if you try and do multiple requests or something more complex that it struggles.

I came for a second home pod because I already have one the bigger one actually and they didn’t have it so I purchased the mini and it was a great purchase especially for the 100 dollar price tag it works in sync with the bigger HomePod and I use it as an intercom.

2 of these as rears, paired with an AppleTV sounds pretty good for a piece mailed Surround system. White noise in bedroom. So many use cases at a good price point. Only wish it had 3.5mm input and removable cord and the the ability to toggle Tidal or Spotify as the default music service but that's supposedly on it's way. Also: Siri isn't as "good" Alexa or Google because Apple doesn't harvest and sell your data. I'll gladly trade off privacy for less "good"

I'm amazed at how good these sound for the size. I have two full-sized HomePod and now two of these to create a whole home audio experience. They all sync seamlessly with my main room running an AppleTV connected to a Yamaha AV receiver home theater setup. Plus all the smart functionality and Thread router capabilities.
