Awesome!! I love this product and this store so much

The sound from this puppy is wonderful. Its ability to assess its surroundings and project room-filling sound is impressive. It’s quite heavy which helps give the bass some added “oomph.” It is best experienced when used in conjunction with an Apple Music subscription. One irritation is that it doesn’t seem to be able to begin a playlist in the middle and play forward from there. It must start at the beginning and play the songs in order. Passing off music from an iPhone to the HomePod isn’t always seamless, either. I liked the sound so much that I bought a second one. They were able to quickly identify each other in the HomeKit app and play well together. However, I must admit that it turns out I was fine having only one HomePod. I’d hoped to have one in front of the living room and one in back so that I would feel even more immersed by the sound. However, that isn’t really how it worked out. Instead, one gets assigned as the left channel, and one the right. Both really need to be in front of you for the best combined effect. Our apartment isn’t large, so a singe HomePod would have been fine. I suppose that a person in a larger home would find it beneficial to have one upstairs and one downstairs, but that isn’t our living situation. We’ll likely give our second one to a friend. The HomePod isn’t as smart as an Alexa. Instead of being able to add “skills,” many functions my be airplayed from an iPhone to the speaker, rather than the speaker being able to do it by itself. An easy fix would be for most iPhone apps to have HomePod versions the same way they do for the Apple Watch. The functionality through the HomeKit app is clunky and not as intuitive as you would expect from Apple. The Apple Watch and the HomePod don’t seem to communicate well, either. The watch and the HomePod don’t seem to be on the same page, as the watch is showing different music playing than what the HomePod is actually playing. If you tap the HomePod in the HomeKit app on your watch while the HomePod is playing, you don’t gain access to HomePod controls. Rather, the HomePod starts playing whatever music was on the watch. The HomePod can serve as a speakerphone so I was really eager to use that functionality for when we call family. Unfortunately, the caller on the other line seems unable to hear clearly unless you really raise your voice or literally sit right next to the speaker. I’ve tried speaking to several callers to make certain the issue wasn’t because of one person’s phone. I learned that the issue was always a problem. Perhaps the microphone isn’t as attuned to voices during phone calls as it is to voices speaking commands to it. I know I’ve listed several complaints in this review, so I want to reiterate that this is an EXCELLENT speaker if you want room-filling sound with rich bass and crisp treble. But this is supposed to be smart and functional, too. Apple is usually too customer oriented to allow a product to be deficient for long. They like to make products that “just work.” Therefore, I’m hoping that future software updates will make it smarter and more user friendly. If they do that, I’ll give it all five stars. It’s an expensive piece of equipment so it really should do more things more easily.

Amazing crisp and clear sound from the Apple HomePod. Easy set up and easy to use. you won't have a single problem with such an amazing product!

This has to be one of the best options for listening to music that Apple has ever put on the markets. With the massive number of tweeters and the subwoofer, you will get amazing sound out of the HomePod. Not only is it good for playing Apple Music, but it's overall great for controlling lights, and plugs, and many other objects that you can control in your home. Overall it's a great device if you're not a Google or an Alexa fan. Hands down it wins for the stereo quality alone.

It has great sound but maybe in a year when they work the bugs out it would be worth the $100 price tag until then I’d stick to a $100 WiFi speaker it don’t just connect Bluetooth it’s a lil more complicated

HomePod is just great! Specially if have everything Apple, everything just syncs perfectly

I felt a loss when Apple decided to discontinue its original HomePod four years after first releasing the smart speaker. This product, contains, more qualities than its price! Bought this actually on Thanksgiving Day in 2019. My boyfriend has a white one and we made them a pair to have the best result. This is a premium speaker and a smart home hub. In the former category, the HomePod is excellent, with amazing sound and incredibly intuitive set-up.

Good supplemental speaker to the original HomePod, but pretty weak on its own. We purchased two for bathrooms only. The connector that goes into the power outlet is obscenely large. Plus is that it’s easy to set up.

We love the product and connected along with Apple TV. Great interface with the apple home kit. Highly recommend if you need a system that collaborates.

The item works well with the apple ecosystem and is very reliable i bought 2 of them and connected them to my apple tv and it works great!

Such rich and beautiful sound quality. The ease of use for playing music is great. Siri could be a little better.

I bough this recently when it was on sale recently. The HomePod offers great sound in a small package. I don't use it (yet) for any "smart home" tasks. I do use the Siri functionality to have HomePod play artists, songs, playlists. One item that I'm still getting used to is how it interfaces with Apple Music. I use play counts and ratings to build smart playlists and when playing via HomePod, it seems to be slow to update play counts. I also like to track my listening with last.fm but playing via HomePod doesn't not seem to track to last.fm. I'm looking forward to learning more about the HomePod and using it to the fullest capabilities.

The minis compliment our large home pod perfectly. We love the intercom feature. No more running downstairs or yelling from the kitchen when it’s time for the family to sit down for dinner.

I waited for a sale and when the price dropped by $100 I decided to purchase. I’m a Sonos user and love the Sonos sound. It’s not really fair to compare 1 of these to a Play 5. 1 HomePod sounded good, not great. Not super loud, not super clear. Not bad at all, good sound just not full or rich. Added a second to create a stereo sound and that has definitely improved the sound. Much fuller, still lacks the detail of a Sonos, but it’s closer now. I’ve not listened as much as I’d like to give a detailed review as a pair but I’m more impressed than I was with just 1.

Happy with the HomePod mini. Like most Apple products, it does a good job at what it is supposed to do.

I have two Homepods and this new Mini connects to them so that I can play the same music through all from my iPhone or IPad. I like the feature. I think it’s a great little speaker.

Great sound. Looks stylish. Easy to use with an iPhone. Could use better Spotify integration. Siri integration isn’t as good as Alexa, especially for smart hone features.
