works well, but if trying to control a smart home there are quite a few items that cant connect

It works well for all its functions but my only complaint is that is not loud enough. Bought it cause reviews said it was loud but it’s not very loud. Still good though

Great if you’re invested in the Apple/HomeKit ecosystem - let’s you place speakers in places the large HomePod would be overkill

Beautiful device that integrates into the Apple ecosystem wonderfully. I also use it to control several of my devices with no issue.

Just wish the bottom was a little wider. Tips too easy. Other than that,we love them. I bought three and will probably get more.

Purchased because Apple is d/c'ing and there will be no more. Intent is to pair with existing unit for stereo sound. HomePod is clearly superior to all competitive units in terms of sound quality; however, the technology resulted in a price point that was too high for the market, where Google and Amazon are using their units as loss leaders for other marketing objectives (e.g., Prime Membership, acquiring consumer/personal data).

Great, small speaker with a lot of power. It’s worth the money. I have a google home and Alexa device. This one is the best.

As a speaker it has amazing depth and bass. As a smart hub it’s very limited due to lack of third party product availability. I feel it’s overpriced for what it does but what it does it does well. I would recommend this at a lower price. I got it for $199 on sale. I think it would be a better value $100 lower but you’re going to pay a premium for that Apple logo and ecosystem.

For some reason my HomePod mini doesnt allow me to adjust the volume from the keyboard of my mac. It also weirdly wont play when connected just to the mac. Siri is absolute garbage and for some reason when it does work and I ask homepod to play a song I cant figure out which device its casting from.

Apple Pods are great to use for playing music, as surround sound, or for integrating your smart home. Great purchase!!

One of the best quality smart speakers on the market, I would recommend it, especially when on sale. They are fairly pricey like many Apple products, but I believe you are paying for quality, which Apple is known for. Good buy, I have 2 of them for my Apple TV and Apple Music. Great surround sound setup, especially with Dolby Atmos now.

Really fine sound for a small size unit. Easily fills a room. You must use AirPlay to play Spotify or Pandora. Not a big deal

Best sounding small speaker, and we have several brands in our house. It’s quite impressive! Also, it’s great as a home hub, letting us automate some lights around the place. I never thought I’d have a smart 80-year old house. Siri gets 4 stars. But, that’s probably because I’m not good at phrasing my requests. I don’t have any better luck talking to my car and it uses Android for its system.

I’m loving the design for this new HomePod mini. Sound quality could be better but if if you are using them in stereo mode you’ll have no issues. For bedroom use I’d recommend getting two.

This is a great little music speaker. It also has temp and humidity sensors.

Just bummed it doesnt pair with my bigger pod. I wish it was noted on the box
