    I originally bought this a few months back when it was $299 and returned it days later because I didn’t think it was worth the price.. about two weeks ago it went on sale for $199 and I bought it again. It has some glitches and can be frustrating at times when it doesn’t want to connect.. sound is good. It’s slightly worth the $199

    It just wasn’t happy on my  TV/ Airport Express in a remote location. It couldn’t connect to the network. In speaker selection Onscreen it was identified by graphic of a tiny Airport & a HomePod - but connecting was another story. Too bad - had high hopes.

    For someone with an Apple Music subscription, home pod is worth it. I decided to just use mine for music and automation. It works pretty well as a speaker, only down wide is Siri on your phone won’t respond appropriately when near home pod.

    The HomePod has been a lot better then I thought it was gonna be, along with apples software updates, it can only improve. The sound is unmatched in my opinion for a smart speaker, and Siri, while not quite on par with Alexa, does more then I need it to. Definitely recommend!

    We used this primarily as a speaker in our main living room - fantastic sound. We have Apple Music running through it most of the time, which has been nice. I really can't compare it to other similar products, but we've been happy with it so far.
