The sound, especially when paired with another HomePod, is really something to behold. There is work to do to improve the HomePod version of Siri, which I hope Apple will do soon, as updates have helped incrementally.

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked that it worked great in the beginning for about 2 years .I purchased three HomePod mini and used two of them as a pair for my television so fas they both failed one after the other doing all sorts of things in the middle of the night playing loud music ,Siri talking out loud on its own, unless you purchase an extended warranty Apple doesn't have an update or a fix for this product it useless , invest in something else .MY HONEST OPINION .

If you love apple, get one!

Responsive to even the most quiet voice command. Amazing sound. My friends always comment on how loud and clear it sounds for its size! Thinking about getting another one honestly!

better as a desktop speaker

I bought 2 to replace a sounder that we typically use to listen to the TV with. Voices were clearer which is what I wanted however the volume was inconsistent and I ultimately returned them.

I wish I can hook it to my OLED however via HDMI. I don’t understand why Apple wouldn’t incorporate that into this product. Besides that it’s pretty cool. Could knock 100 off the price though atleast.

Hate that it’s not wireless also does not get loud enough
