The HomePod mini has a nice full sound for such a small speaker. Will definitely be purchasing a second to use with it and use in stereo. Love that stereo is an option, or use independently. Works great with Apple TV 4K. Also easily transfers audio from iPhone. Also like the intercom function.

I had been putting off converting from Alexa but I wish I would've done it a long time ago. This is great! It's very clear. Doesn't take up much space. Great speaker for listening to music. If you have AppleTV it is a great "remote control" too!

the sound quality is amazing for the size of the speaker. It's easy to use and set up. The only issue I had with it was that Siri was not as capable as Alexa and the Homepod is not compatible with as many smart home accessories. That's why I returned it, I rely on those features.

Mighty sound the HomePod generates! I have this placed between my kitchen and living and it fills both spaces without issue. I’m not an audiophile but it sounds great to me!

The sound quality from this device is very good! Love that I can stream music from Apple or Spotify! Looks nice on the countertop. Plan to purchase another for use in other parts of the house and use as an intercom! This ties HomeKit devices within the home together so you can just tell it to turn lights on or off.

The HomePod mini is the perfect size for a desk. It has great range from low volumes to high volumes, without much distortion. It has all of the features you expect from Apple like Airplay and they work seamlessly. To transfer audio to the HomePod, you just have to move your phone close to it and it does the rest!

While I mourn the end of the full-sized HomePod, the Mini is a useful device in its own right. Is the sound as great as the "big" HomePod. Nope, but it's surprisingly good for such a tiny orb. It's quite responsive to Siri commands, and the NFC and Thread support are icing on the cake if you happen to be a smart home addict. Recently, I found another good use for one of these. We have a pair of the big HomePods acting as sound for our TV, but when it's late at night, I have to jam my hearing aids in to listen at lower volumes. We picked up one of these Minis, and I put it next to me on the couch. We assigned it to an unused room, and now we can add it to the mix at night, with me adjusting the volume on it so I can hear without us cranking up the main pair. In the end, these things are typical Apple: you initially think, "Well, yes, but how useful will it really be?" Then over time, you find out just how well-thought-out it is.

This Speaker has been a great upgrade from the traditional small nest speaker I used to have—way better sound quality for the size. The seamless integration with Apple Music is perfect and whole-home audio with these speakers works wonderfully. These speakers shine when you have 2x of them set into stereo mode. The issue lies with accessories. This product uses HomeKit, and if you're familiar with using HomeKit and have a HomeKit house, this will work perfectly. Controlling your accessories is extremely simple and seems to work great(Most of the Time/I'm not going to review HomeKit here.) If you are migrating from accessories that specifically work with Google Home and Alexa.. You may need to change those accessories.

I am thoroughly surprised by the sound quality of this little speaker. Crisp and clear. The set up was ridiculously easy and took less than five minutes. I bought this to play music for my baby but I find myself using it more frequently to play podcasts as well.

I have the HomePod mini connected to my Apple TV and placed on a table close to where we sit to watch TV. I have a full size HomePod near the TV and using them both like a sound bar. I keep the HomePod mini at about 70% of the volume of the fullsize HP. Fantastic sound and depth with the pair.

Set up is easy and pair with your iCloud. I have them set up in multiple place is my home to use the intercom feature which btw is amazing. I also use them to play music through out the house at low levels.

Love the sound on this speaker. It’s small but yet very loud and clear. Highly recommend getting one or two and putting them behind your tv for more sound or on a end table.

Amazing sound for its size! I got 2 paired / stereo and it’s way better. Yes, not good bass, and ITS NOT the regular HomePod , but it’s great, faster, simple, EZ and very convenient. Get 2 for pair and you won’t regret it for you small office or room or kitchen. Want a party ? Not these.

I had a Google Home Mini I got for free years ago, but never really used it. The sound wasn't super great, the bass was poor, and some songs sounded very compressed. Additionally, the voice assistant never really understood my requests (e.g. "Play playlist X" or "play song X by X"), and I would get ads for artists that I specifically ask Google to play, even if I didn't listen to them on the speaker that much, it just didn't feel great to be tracked like that. So far, I love my HomePod mini. The sound is great, capable of being loud with great, punchy bass. Siri, while still flawed, so far has understood my requests better than my Home Mini. Additionally, I've been able to play my iTunes library without the need to connect my phone via Bluetooth. I have yet to really use it as a smart home device (I lack anything to use with it), so can't comment on that. But as a speaker, I love it.

Easy to set up. Sounds great. If you’re and “Apple” person and want sound throughout your home this is a great way to do it. I do wish these weren't so limited on commands. Alexa and Google seem to play better with other devices. But still love it. We have 3 and the larger HomePod and love them all.

Was tired of Alexa pushing things to sell. I had the original echo. The sound from the little speaker is very good. Cannot handle as complex of requests like Alexa can, but it doesn't try to push things too me.

If you are deep in the apple ecosystem, like I am, you will appreciate the HomePod mini. Not only does it give you access to Siri, but it also tells you the temperature and humidity in the room and allows you to use it as a speaker for an Apple TV. In this instance, I purchased this HomePod to use in the kitchen for timer and to listen to music. This smart speaker is a great addition to my HomeKit accessories.
