I bought this to replace an old Echo Dot and I love it so much more. It’s so easy to play music right from my phone and I quickly bought a second one and made a stereo pair. They sound great!

The sound from this little bubble is impressive, and I imagine using two together would be as well. It’s pleasant to have as a quick way to ask Siri for favors. I’m very happy with this product. It is only 4 stars because a visual interface, or deeper control through the Home app, would make this a lot more useful. Also, setup was not plug and play for me, but you might have better luck. I had to troubleshoot and it took a solid 30 minutes or more before it got going.

Bought 2 open box Homepod Minis, both in white, at separate times within 2 weeks of each other. Harder to find yellow and orange versions. It's still Overpriced for what it is but saved some money by buying the open box returned items. Wipe them both down with disinfect wipes to clean. One qualified for Applecare while the other did not. Doesn't matter as it won't leave the house and both appeared really new as in people returned it almost immediately so BB can't resell as new. The sound is acceptable, considering it's only used for streaming music and audiobooks from my iPhone. Set them up to have stereo pairing, one on the left and one on the right of each other and used in the living room. There's a slight pause when turning on to stream but it works. Siri is a pain as it doesn't work well so only used to get outside weather temperature and the current time. What's needed for future versions: 1. Battery power option 2. Removable power cable, like the bigger Homepod 2. 3. Include the Bluetooth functionality 4. Work with other devices like PCs/laptops and Non-Apple TVs (as a normal (dumb) speaker) 5. Add stereo pairing with the bigger Homepod speaker 6. Add the update button in the Home app 7. Add instructions on how to Reset the mini (press down on top until lights turn red then white, hopefully it beeps to tell you that it's done). There are other brands with better speakers and prices that offer better functionality. Apple's Homepod [Mini] speakers are meant for Apple users in the Apple ecosystem.

The mini home pod is a great addition to your apple ecosystem. The sound from such a little speaker is amazing. Would recommend this for anyone looking to add sound to a small room or use for extra TV sound.

Sounds great! Had to even turn off the bass. They all connect together as one large home system. Each room has one so when I’m cleaning or working on projects. Music is everywhere!

I went from Amazon Alexa to Apple Siri. I much prefer HomePod due to the fact of all my Apple devices being connected. I love the way the Apple ecosystem works and HomePod fits right in. Not to mention the better sound quality of my HomePod mini in comparison to my Echo Dot. I also found that the HomePod has more useful features than my Alexa did. I know you can set up Alexa so that it has the ability to make and receive phone calls but I never could figure it out. With HomePod it was a breeze and makes life much easier when at my office desk doing work. HomePod and Alexa are nearly identical and I wouldn’t recommend making the switch from Alexa to HomePod but I would recommend purchasing a HomePod over and Alexa if your a first time buyer and if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem.

Apple is known for making really well engineered and quality products, not always very cost effective but very very good quality. The HomePod is an exception to that case. It’s a really quality product and it’s actually priced really well. I’m super happy with her and I love the ability to hand off my phone calls to one seamlessly. End it does a great job of recognizing me and my girlfriends voices and keeping our preference is separate and calendars and everything. I hope they continue to expand the offering, it would be nice to see a bit larger speaker. I’ve got several of them all over the house now and they pair really well in stereo and they sound fine when it’s just one. I am well pleased. Coupled with Apple Music it’s a pretty great home whole home audio solution.

Love it! Good sound quality and sleek and chic looking.

Although it’s not super loud it has a really great sound. It can go almost anywhere without looking out of place. If your in the apple eco system it’s an awesome add on to your Apple TV setup. Highly recommend.

For this being this small the sound is amazing, I was a little hesitant when deciding to get this along with my new Apple TV but it’s amazing and highly recommended it, plus it doesn’t create a dust right like the original HomePod

I bought this for my niece as a gift and she loves it. She wanted something small. Although it is small she says the sound is amazing. It also easily integrates with her apple products (phone, computer).

Excellent room filling sound, but I was a bit disappointed to find out that it doesn’t connect direct to my smart bulbs. Siri also isn’t as good of an assistant as Alexa. However, the sound quality is fantastic for a tiny speaker, and if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem, the ease of use can’t be beaten.

I would give this like a 4.5 star review. Its not perfect, "Alexa" and "hey google" are probably better androids and the price for the home pod mini is higher than the similar sized product from amazon and google. But in the end, this is a beautiful, clean, reliable and secure device that sounds SIGNIFICANTLY better than the Google home mini and echo dot, like its not even close. I plan to get a couple more and would like to hear how much better stereo pairing the music would be. It doesn't bother me that Siri isn't as smart as the others, but it for sure is the safest and most secure at protecting your privacy. my only dock on this would be the price vs its direct competitors, but to me, the quality and sound more than make up for it. Especially as your turn up the volume, it still sounds great and doesn't dilute like the competitors. I'm also impressed at how lightly I can say "Hey Siri" when the music is loud and she will still hear me.

I preordered an Apple HomePod from Best Buy. Picked it up on Friday after work. Early Saturday morning I was at Best Buy buying a second one before they sold out. Yes, the sound was really that good! I own a number of Amazon echo devices including several Echo Show and several Google Home devices. Alexa and Hey Google outperform Siri. But if you’re buying this for sound, nothing even comes close. The sharp, clear high frequencies because of the seven tweeters which are computer controlled cannot be duplicated by any other device on the market today. I do not subscribe to Apple Music. I listen to SiriusXM through my computer using iTunes, and distribute it to these HomePod speakers wirelessly, using the Apple lossless wireless system. That gives an additional benefit of being able to adjust equalization through iTunes. The resulting sound is phenomenal! Please note that after purchasing these two HomePod speakers, Apple updated the firmware. They still do not have stereo capability, but they reduced the bass because a number of people thought there was too much bass! I thought it was perfect before, so I simply bumped up the equalization through iTunes and I’m back to where it was before. Don’t even worry about the stereo consideration. Each speaker fills the room and sounds so multidimensional, you will think you have surround sound from HomePod. Crisp in your face audio in every area of your room! Highest Recommendation!!

Great little speaker! Very easy to use and set up. It handles many of the tasks that an Echo handles. Handing off music to it from your phone is super simple. And it looks great on the counter!

Amazing sound … perfect size no need much space ….

I didn’t realize that this wasn’t a wireless speaker. Buying an Apple product who would’ve thought they’d be selling something that needs to be plugged into a wall the entire time. I bought this as a gift and would’ve gone with a beats pill or another wireless speaker. The speaker does sound very well.

It came in PERFECT CONDITION. There was literally no dents or anything, not even on the box. Works amazingly, and no problems. Would recommend.

Though I prefer the better sound of the larger HomePod, now discontinued, this is probably a better deal for the price. A few of these around the house plus AirPlay 2 makes for a pretty nice whole house audio system.
