This is my second HomePod Mini. I love the addition of blue (my first one is black). They’re great if you’re in the Apple ecosystem. Probably not good if you aren’t. I like being able to control my Apple Home devices by speaking to it. It’s also cool that I can send audio to any combination of my Apple TV and the two HomePods sink can have multi room sound, but it doesn’t offer that option from all sources. If I’m listening to Apple Music it will work. It has pretty decent sound quality too. I wish more apps could utilize it. It would be fun to play games on it like you can with a Google device.

The sound quality is great! Easy to setup and great to use while working out. Made a great Christmas gift for my husband.

Got this to match the other in our bedroom. Now we have surround sound rain sounds at night for the wife, and murder documentaries for me at night on the iPad.

Let me start by first saying, this is a small speaker so don’t expect top quality sound! That being said, for the size of the speaker it puts out really good sound! The voices don’t sound over powering, there’s just enough mid and bass sound to make this a little power house of a speaker! The down side is when responding to “Hey Siri” and trying to make a face time call on your phone, it instead makes a FaceTime audio call!

Purchased the HomePod very reluctantly after it was discounted $100 for Black Friday. I will say, I am glad I did! This speaker is being used in my home as a sound bar replacement with my AppleTV. Sometime the Apple TV will get disconnected (this is easily resolved by holding the “play” button on my Apple TV remote). After the last 3mo of continued use I am giving this product 5 stars on the basis of sound quality, ease of use and Siri integration.

Great sound from such a little guy! Works great with all my Homekit accessories. Intercom alone is worth buy one for all your rooms that you actively use.

Excellent sound, fun to use, great price. Just like the larger one, but smaller and less expensive. Handoff with phone doesn’t always work perfectly.
