Enjoying the Home Pod mini. Couldn’t justify the expense for the larger original one so I was happy to see them introduce this affordable one. The sound quality is very good and more than sufficient for me. Honestly Siri doesn’t know everything that Alexa does, but I prefer Apple products over Amazon. Also I do wish that anything you played on your iPhone could be played on the Mini but it seems to be limited to Apple Music. Hopefully that will be an enhancement for the future. Bottom line, I am enjoying the Home Pod and would recommend it.

I wanted to like this smart speaker. I'm totally invested in the Apple ecosystem, and thought this might be a nice addition. It was going to replace a Google Home Mini, which is clearly inferior in sound quality (not that I used it to play music anyway, but some do). First thing first: Siri is still eons inferior to Google's smart assistant, hampering this devices main function of being a smart device. Sound quality is just ok. Honestly, after having it for about a week, I came to the conclusion that it would only be worth considering had it been wireless. The fact that it needs to be plugged in makes it tough to choose as a small form-factor smart speaker. Siri is still way too limited to serve as your main smart assistant. I ended up returning it and replaced it with a Google Smart Display, which does much more for less money. Apple still gets lots of my money, but in this case, for $100 you can do much better.

Finally NOT disappointed in a small sized speaker. Works fine in average to smaller sized rooms.

Pairs very well with other Apple ecosystem products. I mainly use it as an alarm clock and for music. Only wish is that it had a display for the time.

I was rather disappointed in the features of the HomePod. Unlike my Google nest mini, I cannot start Spotify music from it, or Apple Music (possibly because I don’t have premium Apple Music); rather, I have to airplay from my phone/other Apple device and it cannot serve as a Bluetooth speaker for a non Apple device. It can’t turn off a light from my smart plug in 15 min (can only turn on/off immediately) and it only has very basic Siri functions where even my iPhone can do more. The only real upsides to it is that it can turn off my bedroom lamp and that it has decent sound quality. Glad I bought it as open box because I would have been even more disappointed if it was full price.

I bought the HomePod mini for my small home office and liked it so much I purchased the larger HomePod for my bedroom.

while siri isn’t able to do as much as google home, or amazon alexa, it does what i want it to. i am a constant music listener and this speaker is able to seamlessly play music from my apple music library which is super lovely. the bass is exceptional and the quality is crisp. extremely easy to set up, just brought my phone close.

Great sound. Very easy to set up. Very easy to pair two HomePod Mini's together for a stereo pair.

I love this. Set up took like 2 mins and I couldn’t be happier with it. I was previously using Alexa and we fought all the time with settings and verbal commands. The Apple connects, without question, to all my iPhone apps and I haven’t had a problem with one of my requests yet. I use it for several different things including smart plugs, and I plan to get several more to put throughout our home.

Room filling sound out of this little speaker, plus Siri. Love it!

This product has been a neat addition to my kitchen. I often play music or set timers when I'm in the kitchen cooking or cleaning. The only downside I've experienced with this product is that sometimes when I am in another room and use "Hey Siri" on my phone it will answer through the HomePod instead.

From an aesthetic point, these look great. From a technical point they were pretty easy to set up, just somewhat slow. Since the speaker works via wifi(airplay) there is quite a lag when you hit play on anything. I synced it with my Apple TV but there is still a noticeable delay between the scene on tv on the sound. I did add a second one as a stereo pair and they sound nice for music, but I’m sure there are much better sounding options for the price point. I would recommend a soundbar over these for home theatre purposes.
